On National Food Day, we’re proud to recognize the work behind every full shelf, every local retailer we support and every meal that reaches a family’s table.

We are launching our next Heroes & Hope Foundation fundraising campaign to support more than 130 local food pantries across 10 states. Food pantries provide a lifeline for individuals and families facing food insecurity, helping to ensure that no one goes hungry. Now through November, store guests can support local food pantries by donating $0.50, $1, $5 or $10 at checkout in participating stores, including Chiefs Market, D&W® Fresh Market, Family Fare®, Forest Hills Foods, Martin’s Super Markets, Needler’s Fresh Market and Remke Community Markets, as well as affiliated fuel centers. Donations can also be made when placing an online grocery order.   A small contribution today can help local food pantries keep their shelves stocked and provide food for our communities.

Pharmacy Appreciation Week gives us an opportunity to recognize the pharmacy teams who support the health and well-being of our communities every day. From answering questions and filling prescriptions to administering vaccines and offering trusted guidance, our pharmacy teams help make healthcare more convenient and accessible for the people we serve. Today, we remember the lives lost on 9/11, and honor the first responders, service members and everyday people who showed incredible courage and compassion that day and in the days that followed. We’re reminded of the strength that comes from people coming together, helping one another and serving their communities when it matters most. Today and always, we remember.
