The clearest takeaway from last night's STATION DC nuclear energy policy salon dinner: the momentum is real, and keeping it will take everyone at the table. Policymakers from across government and Congress joined reactor developers, utilities and investors in one room, to talk through what it will take to move the dial forward for nuclear deployment in the US. A few themes stood out: • Workforce, supply chain and fuel are now the central questions, and as one guest put it, those are the challenges we want to have. • Federal agencies are working together more closely than many in the room have seen in their careers. • Today's momentum stands on years of bipartisan work. Keeping it will take regulatory certainty that lasts across administrations and public trust that keeps communities on board. Thank you to Elizabeth (Liz) Muller of Deep Fission for moderating and leading such a thoughtful conversation. What is the one thing that would move the dial for nuclear in the next 12 months? Let's hear your thoughts below.
