Standard Template Labs reposted this
It's official. Standard Template Labs is live. I started STLabs to solve a problem I saw up close for over a decade: enterprise IT teams drowning in manual coordination, using platforms built before cloud, before AI, before the explosion of SaaS sprawl. These systems were designed to track work — not resolve it. We're building an AI-first service management platform that resolves requests and incidents end-to-end, grounded in a living graph of the enterprise — the people, systems, services, and policies that define how an organization actually runs. Requests that used to take days of back-and-forth can be resolved in minutes. Today we're announcing $49M in seed funding, co-led by ICONIQ and CRV. STLabs was incubated at ICONIQ — a first in the firm's history. Matthew Jacobson has been in my corner since he led ICONIQ's early investment in Datadog over a decade ago. What started as a board relationship became a real friendship, and when I told him what I wanted to build, he didn't just back it — he helped me build the company from day zero. I wouldn't want anyone else on this journey. Murat Bicer at CRV was the seed investor in Datadog. He saw what that company could become before almost anyone, and he's been a close friend and trusted sounding board ever since. Having him bring that same conviction to STLabs means everything. I'm also grateful to have extraordinary advisors: - Archie Deskus — Former EVP & CTO at PayPal, former CIO at Intel, HPE, Baker Hughes, and Ingersoll Rand - Arvind KC — Chief People Officer at OpenAI, former CPO at Roblox, CIO at Palantir, VP Engineering at Google- - Emilio E. — CISO at Datadog, former VP of InfoSec at Hulu And I'm honored to have the personal backing of angels who know what it takes to build category-defining companies: Olivier Pomel and Alexis Lê-Quôc (co-founders of Datadog), Anu Bharadwaj (former President of Atlassian), and Guillermo Rauch (founder & CEO of Vercel). If you're an IT, Security, or Engineering leader tired of coordinating around your tools instead of with them — let's talk. And, you're an engineer who wants to build something foundational from the ground floor, reach out. https://stlabs.com #STLabs #ITSM #AI #ServiceManagement
