We love to innovate for our patients! We're the first to go live with Ask Emmie, a conversational AI assistant in MyHealthOnline that answers patients’ health questions within the safety, privacy and context of their medical record. Sutter and Epic worked closely on testing and refining the tool, which is now available to some Sutter patients with more gaining access soon.

Big milestone for surgical innovation at Sutter! Surgeons at Sutter’s California Pacific Medical Center and Sutter’s Alta Bates Summit Medical Center recently completed their first urological surgeries using a single incision with the da Vinci Single-Port robotic system. This advanced robotic technology allows surgeons to perform complex procedures through one small, single opening rather than multiple incisions. For patients, that may mean less pain, faster recovery and better health outcomes. See how Sutter's Alta Bates Summit Medical Center completed its first urologic surgeries using the da Vinci Single-Port robotic system: https://bit.ly/3NpSmAR.
