TAKKT Foodservices announced two major milestone anniversaries for its distributor brands: 80 years in service for Hubert Company and 45 years for Central Restaurant Products. Together, the brands are marking nearly a century and a half of leadership in the foodservice, retail, and hospitality industries.
“As we celebrate Hubert's 80th anniversary and Central's 45th anniversary, we are grateful to our employees, customers, and partners whose dedication and trust have made these milestones possible,” TAKKT President Kerry Llewellyn said. “We also thank the foodservice industry for its collaboration, shared best practices, and commitment to advancing our industry and the customers we proudly serve. Together, we look forward to building on this legacy for years to come.”
TAKKT acquired Ohio-based Hubert in 2000 and Indiana’s Central Restaurant Products nine years later. In 2023, the companies unified back-of-house functions, although they continue to operate under their own brand identities. In a news release, TAKKT said the alignment between the brands has enabled greater efficiency, expanded product access, and improved service levels across the combined customer base. Together, the brands strive to support customers across the foodservice ecosystem, including restaurants, healthcare facilities, education, hospitality, and retail environments.
