How are financial services teams turning AI demos into real operational wins? That was the question on the Pulse Stage this morning at Fintech Meetup. Taktile Co-founder and CEO Maik Taro Wehmeyer joined Goodfin’s Anna Joo Fee, BankTech VenturesCarey Ransom, Carrington Labs' Jamie Twiss, and Fundbox’s Prashant F. for a candid conversation about deploying agentic AI in decision-making. What came through clearly: the industry is past the "should we use AI?" phase. Now, we’re reimagining entire workflows with agents and understanding how to measure their value in production. Still at Fintech Meetup? We're at Booth 139 and would love to hear your take!

  • Day 1 at Fintech Meetup and the energy is already 🔥 Our favorite moments at conferences are always the expo floor chats, the unexpected introductions, and those ”finally, someone gets my pain” moments. We're here all week at Booth 139 and would love to connect, whether that's diving into AI agents or debating the best restaurant in Vegas. Grab time with the team at the link in comments.

  • Join us for an evening above the Vegas skyline during Fintech Meetup. ✨ We’re hosting a Taktile happy hour at Skyfall Lounge on Tuesday, March 31, and we’d love to connect with you. If you’re building, scaling, or exploring AI-powered decisioning in financial services, this is a chance to meet others doing the work and build connections away from the conference floor. • Welcome home, Shelldon! 🦞

Lobster came home to the NYC office today, name is Shelldon 🦞 Had some time to reflect on why we were able to pull off the wall street stunt in <2 weeks, a lot because of the Taktile culture: If I can break this down into several pillars of how we do what we do, it is this: - Believe you can do crazy things. I really think the only big difference between a team who can pull off a stunt like this and one who doesn’t is believing that you can. You are capable of things you never thought so just believe and you will surprise yourself. - Listen to your instincts. When Nicolas Blaettry brought us the idea we knew that it was gold. Then we talked to some PR agencies and prop builders who said no the timeline is too short, security too tight at Wall Street etc. But we trusted our gut and found the right partners to make it happen. - Tap into your community. If you don’t ask you don’t get. We found Andrew Logan our incredible lobster builder through an artist friend of Max’s in Berlin… So random. From there we had to ask a million big favors from our community to get the stunt viral. It was uncomfortable but we did it anyway and it paid off. - Don’t give up…even when it gets really really tough There were so many moments in the process when we thought it could not happen. Like on launch day when the lobster was stuck in New Jersey in crazy traffic 😅 We just would not take no for an answer.

  • AI is quickly becoming a practical advantage for AML teams. In this quarter’s ACAMS Today Magazine, Taktile’s Maximilian Eber and Dustin Eaton share how they’re seeing innovative compliance teams put AI into action: 1. 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐞  ⤷ Traditional AML systems often generate large volumes of alerts based on static rules. Analysts use AI to triage alerts early so they can focus on the highest-risk cases instead of false positives. 2. 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ⤷  In manual review, subtle changes across accounts, channels, or time can be easy to miss. Teams respond to suspicious activity sooner by using AI to detect patterns with precision. 3. 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐬 ⤷ Adverse media checks and sanctions screening often slow teams down with repetitive steps. Reviewers speed up time-consuming work by asking AI to summarize and analyze large columns of investigation. 4. 𝐃𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 ⤷ Periodic risk assessments are useful, but they are still snapshots. Teams adopt dynamic risk scoring that updates as new signals come in, rather than only waiting for the next review cycle. For more, check out the full ACAMS Today publication below 👇

  • A B2B fintech company achieved 3x customer onboarding capacity and cut underwriting time by 50% using Taktile. Here’s how the team collaborated with AI agents across the approval lifecycle: → AI agents handled manual work like data analysis and document verification → Standard applications moved through underwriting and onboarding faster  → Human experts focused on complex, ambiguous, or higher-risk cases → Final approvals stayed with the team, delivered in a fraction of the usual time As the team’s Strategy & Operations Lead explained: “These AI agents are incredibly nuanced and specific to our unique policies, which gives us confidence in the accuracy and consistency of our decisions.” To learn more, read the full story via the link in the comments 👇
