We are Uber. The go-getters. The kind of people who are relentless about our mission to help people go anywhere and get anything and earn their way. Movement is what we power. It’s our lifeblood. It runs through our veins. It’s what gets us out of bed each morning. It pushes us to constantly reimagine how we can move better. For you. For all the places you want to go. For all the things you want to get. For all the ways you want to earn. Across the entire world. In real time. At the incredible speed of now.
The idea for Uber was born on a snowy night in Paris in 2008, and ever since then our DNA of reimagination and reinvention carries on. We’ve grown into a global platform powering flexible earnings and the movement of people and things in ever expanding ways. We’ve gone from connecting rides on 4 wheels to 2 wheels to 18-wheel freight deliveries. From takeout meals to daily essentials to prescription drugs to just about anything you need at any time and earning your way. From drivers with background checks to real-time verification, safety is a top priority every single day. At Uber, the pursuit of reimagination is never finished, never stops, and is always just beginning.
For the last day of Women’s History Month, we’re taking a little trip down memory lane 📸
Imagine telling these versions of themselves they’d grow up to work at Uber!

Premium travel is one of the most exciting growth areas for Uber. Our goal is simple: offer the widest range of options to meet riders wherever they are, from everyday commutes to high-end, luxury experiences. That’s why today, we’re excited to announce an agreement to acquire Blacklane.
Blacklane connects travelers around the world with trusted, independent chauffeur services through its app and web platform. Operating in more than 500 cities across 60+ countries, it has become the chauffeur service of choice for discerning travelers and executives at many of the world’s leading companies.
By combining Blacklane’s high-quality service and deep local expertise with Uber’s global scale and technology, we’re building an even more powerful platform for premium mobility worldwide.
The acquisition is subject to the receipt of customary regulatory approvals and satisfaction of other customary closing conditions and is expected to close by the end of 2026.
Now trending. 🔥

We’re proud to share that Uber has been named to Fortune’s 2026 America’s Most Innovative Companies list.
At Uber, innovation means solving hard problems at massive scale. We challenge what exists, build what’s next, and do work that impacts how millions of people move, earn, and live every day. The work is complex, fast, and doesn’t come with a playbook, but that’s what makes it exciting.

Back when I was in high school, I attended my first WNBA game — the Miami Sol.
Incredible athletes. Great basketball. But the stands were nearly empty.
That’s not the case anymore 🔥
Earlier this week, I returned to Miami to interview Caitlin Clark in a room full of women who are changing the game. You can feel the shift in women's sports right now. Women are stepping into spaces that weren’t built for them—and redefining them.
At Uber, we're trying to do that too. That's why we hosted Women Change the Game with Dress for Success Worldwide, our first community event focused on helping more women get behind the wheel and expand earning opportunities. Women riders have been clear: they want more women drivers.
So we built Women Preferences (now nationwide 💪), designed by women, for women, to give riders and drivers more choice, comfort, and control.
In that room, I felt the momentum. Curiosity. Drive. And real questions about flexibility, income, and independence.
We also celebrated the women already out there on the road—our MVP drivers Natasha, Anna, Darnielle, and Francia, who are among the highest rated in Miami. They’re a reminder this isn’t just about driving.
It’s about opening doors.
You can see why Caitlin is such a big part of this movement. And as she said yesterday—it's just the beginning.
