#WeAreUNFI 🫡 “In the military, everybody learns together, everybody works together, and everybody's got each other's back. I learned that firsthand from all who I served with in the Marine Corps. As a Talent Acquisition Partner, I continue to support the men and women who serve by helping shape UNFI’s veteran recruitment strategy and providing guidance on how to work with veterans in our hiring process. I’m also co-leader of the Veteran’s Initiative Program, a belonging and innovation group that supports military members and veterans at UNFI. We offer a mentorship program to associates who are transitioning from the military to the civilian workforce. We connect each other to resources and services, but most of all, we’re there for each other. We have each other’s backs. I’m proud to be part of the growing network of veterans and military members at UNFI. It’s great to work for a company that supports our community and values our contributions.” Peter Romano, Talent Acquisition Partner, Operations #UNFI #MilitaryAppreciationMonth #Veterans

#WeAreUNFI 💚 “I was hired in Pleasant Prairie, Wis., in January 1991 as a Transportation Clerk. In my first year, I held four different positions, focusing on learning as much as possible with the goal of becoming a strong asset to the company. That curiosity and work ethic led me through a variety of roles—from Transportation and Warehouse leadership to General Manager at our Green Bay distribution center. Over my 35-year career with UNFI, what I’m most proud of is the impact our teams have had supporting retailers. Leadership is about listening, investing in people, and building trust so everyone feels valued and moving toward the same goal. Together, we strive to be better every day and I’m grateful to be part of this amazing Green Bay team.” Renee Spear, General Manager, Green Bay Distribution Center
