One week after our Publishing Leaders Retreat in Miami, one takeaway continues to stand out: The next advantage for media companies won't come from any single tactic. It will come from how well they coordinate the capabilities that drive long-term growth. Premium monetization. Audience intelligence. AI. Strategic partnerships. Bringing those capabilities together is what creates a more resilient media business and that's why we built Apex by Raptive. To every leader who joined us in Miami alongside the World Cup, thank you for the thoughtful conversations, fresh perspectives, and your willingness to help shape the future of our industry. The next media company advantage isn't traffic. It's coordination. That was one of the clearest themes to emerge during Raptive's Publishing Leaders Retreat, held alongside the World Cup in Miami. Over the course of the weekend, leaders from 18 media companies came together for candid conversations about where the industry is headed. One strategic theme surfaced again and again: The strongest media businesses aren't optimizing individual functions in isolation. They're designing audience growth, monetization, distribution, and editorial strategies to reinforce one another. In his latest blog, Marc McCollum shares four strategic signals that emerged from those conversations and what they mean for media companies navigating what's next. Ahead of the World Cup Bronze Final in Miami, Raptive brought together leaders across the media industry for our Publishing Leaders Retreat. Special thanks to Brian Morrissey from The Rebooting for leading the discussion, and to every executive who shared their perspectives throughout the day. One thing became clear: today's media companies aren't navigating a single industry shift. They're simultaneously adapting to changing audience behaviors, AI, evolving revenue models, and growing operational complexity. The conversations were candid, collaborative, and a reminder that some of the industry's most valuable insights come from bringing leaders together. We'll be sharing more of the key themes and insights from these conversations in the days ahead. There's some mythology that Raptive is only for SMBs. That hasn't been true for years, and today that myth is over. We just launched Apex, our full solution for media companies of every size, including the largest in the world. We've been quietly building a ton of new features over the last 18 months to modularize our stack and make it work for everyone, from those who want a fully managed service to those who want a totally bespoke configuration. Everything is configurable. Apex is the culmination of that effort, and it's... pretty freakin' awesome. Bring your own ad server? Check. Bring your own SSP? Check. Bring your own CMP/DMP/CDP/TLA? Check. Manage web and app inventory? Check. Integration between your sales team and ours? Check. And many more checks. Oh, and I mentioned that Apex works for the largest media companies in the world. What's the largest programmatic media company in the world? It's us. We already have the most sophisticated technology, team, and ad sales relationships. Most importantly, we have the largest data assets, by far, to power the best monetization for 7,000 sites, 220M+ US monthly unique users, billions of monthly pageviews/experiences, trillions of monthly data points, and 10%+ of open web ad spend. At our scale, advantage is no longer incremental. It's exponential. Every decision gets smarter, every outcome improves, and the gap becomes insurmountable. Media companies that want to maximize their ad revenue, while retaining control and managing costs - Apex is for you. https://lnkd.in/gfTNDUtx

There's been a lot of conversation lately around AIO, AEO, GEO—you name it. But in this thought-provoking piece, our Chief AI Officer, John Roa, flips the script by asking a more fundamental question: What if the real optimization is trust? As AI becomes a primary engine for discovery and decision-making, trust, attribution, and evidence matter more than ever. How do we ensure AI-generated answers are grounded in real, attributable, high-quality sources? Worth the read. https://lnkd.in/eTptqZgY

AI doesn't just need more data, it needs better context. That's the idea behind Raptive Intelligence, and we're excited to see it featured by A Media Operator via an interview with our Chief AI Officer, John Roa. The article explores why creator expertise and audience insight are becoming critical ingredients for the next generation of AI experiences. By combining the trusted knowledge from Raptive's creator network with AlchemyAI's technology, we're building intelligence that helps AI deliver more relevant, accurate, and actionable answers. As AI continues to reshape how people discover information, we believe creators deserve to be at the center of that future—not on the sidelines. Thanks to A Media Operator for the thoughtful coverage of what we're building and why it matters. Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/eRSUdWqG

Cannes is always a reminder of how quickly our industry is evolving. We're grateful for the conversations, new connections, and the opportunity to exchange ideas with leaders across media, advertising, and technology. One theme came through consistently: the future belongs to trusted content, strong creator businesses, and a thriving open web. A special thank you to our own Marla Newman for representing Raptive throughout the week and helping bring these conversations to life. Thanks to everyone who connected with the Raptive team. We left inspired by what's ahead and already looking forward to next year.
