On August 17th, we're opening our fourth location inside RIVANI Miami Beach at 1691 Michigan Avenue, our first expansion outside of Los Angeles and the next step in building something we've always believed in: a longevity based ecosystem for proactive, performance-driven healthcare. The RIVANI isn't a typical office building. It's a Class X development built around the idea that environment shapes performance, world-class dining, private social lounges, spa and wellness, a members' club atmosphere, and hospitality-driven concierge service woven into the everyday workday. It's exactly the kind of environment Monarch was built to live inside. Our space will be 8,000 square feet. Physician-led. Fully integrated. Members will have access to medical evaluations, personal training, physical therapy, nutrition, IV therapy, cryotherapy, infrared sauna, and performance optimization protocols, the complete Monarch system, now in Miami. This partnership with RIVANI founder Robert Rivani came together because we share the same belief: health, performance, and environment are inseparable. You can't optimize one without the others. Miami Beach made sense the moment we started looking. The energy here, the ambition, the culture, it already thinks the way Monarch thinks. We're not bringing something foreign to this city. We're meeting it where it already is.

By December, I think these seven ideas will feel painfully obvious. Every six months, I force myself to answer one question: What do I believe today that will feel obvious six months from now? Not what's trending. Not what's going viral. What's quietly changing underneath all of it. The biggest opportunities stop looking like trends right before they become industries. They show up in founder conversations. In earnings calls almost nobody reads. In grocery carts. In products quietly gaining shelf space. In the questions consumers start asking before they even realize they're asking them. A few of them: • GLP-1s become an optimization story, not a weight-loss story • Recovery starts looking like the next boutique fitness • Every aisle becomes the supplement aisle Most trend reports tell you what happened. I'm much more interested in what's about to happen, in what people will wish they'd noticed sooner. Full 7 in the report.

We're heading to Miami. Monarch Athletic Club is officially launching in South Beach, and we're building the team that will bring the Monarch ecosystem to one of the most health-obsessed cities in the world. We aren't a gym. We are an integrated performance and wellness club where medicine, nutrition, strength, and recovery live under one roof. We built something impactful in LA, and now we're taking it somewhere that was made for this. We're hiring across every discipline: - General Manager - Strength Coaches - Doctor of Physical Therapy - Medical DO/NP/PA - Club Concierge - Facilities - Nutritionist - Marketing & Events Coordinator - Sales Associate If you're a practitioner, coach, or enthusiast who's tired of operating in silos and wants to collaborate with a team that treats the entire individual, we’d love to meet you. Miami, this one's for you. Apply now - https://lnkd.in/g_rw7UGS

I didn't take the traditional path to venture. Started on Wall Street. MBA. Got an inside look at taking a fitness company public. Then...a yoga studio. Then an early stage wellness fund. Not the resume that opens doors automatically. So I write. I host rooms. I build in public. And my best investments have come from founders who felt like they already knew me before we ever got on a call. That's not a distraction from the work. That's the whole strategy. And the strategy only works if I actually know what I'm talking about. So here's what I know right now, more clearly than almost anything else I'm watching: GLP-1s are not a drug story. The real opportunity isn't in the molecule. It's in everything that changes because of it. I've spent months building the full investment thesis. 45 pages. Where the money gets made before it's obvious. It's live. Drop a comment, and I'll send it to you. Wellness Growth Ventures

Everyone is talking about GLP-1s like it's a drug story. It's not. It's a behavior story. And the downstream effects (on food, fitness, supplements, skincare, the entire wellness category) are bigger than almost anyone is modeling right now. 1 in 8 Americans has tried one. And the fastest adoption isn't Beverly Hills or the Upper East Side. It's suburban zip codes, employer health plans, primary care offices. Middle America is quietly and drastically changing how it spends. When you change appetite, you don't just change food. You change how people age. How they train. What they buy. What they decide is worth fixing. I've spent months mapping this across categories; not just what's happening, but where it goes next. What's breaking. What's being rebuilt. Where the real opportunity is before it's obvious. Sunday I published the full framework. 45 pages. It's not a trend piece. It's a full thesis. (Link in comments) Wellness Growth Ventures

Unpopular opinion...your Oura Ring is no longer a flex. In 2026, it's anxiety with a battery life. We spent a decade optimizing ourselves like laptops. Upgraded the RAM with HIIT. Ignored the "System Overheat" warning until the screen went black. And now we've hit the Optimization Ceiling. A hacked system isn't a high-performing one. It's often a stressed one with better data. The status symbol has quietly shifted: 2016: $15 green juice 2024: Oura ring + ice bath 2026: A regulated nervous system We stopped asking how to make the body faster. We started asking how to make it quiet. The next billion-dollar wellness brands might not be selling optimization. They'll might be selling regulation. Communal bathhouses. Breathwork studios. Magnesium and cortisol-blockers replacing pre-workout. Social spaces designed for collective nervous system reset. The unpopular opinion: the most sophisticated biohack on the market right now is a long walk, a deep breath, and leaving your phone in the other room. You cannot optimize your way out of being human. The cutting edge may not be a new app. It might be the radical admission that your body already knows what it needs. Any wellness trend you think is finally done? On the latest episode of the Monarch Metamorphosis Podcast, we decided to sit down with someone who has helped shape Monarch from the outside. Rachel Hirsch, CEO & Founder of Wellness Growth Ventures and host of The 2% Club Podcast, joined the show for a conversation about of wellness, capital, and trends. Rachel has been a longstanding Monarch investor and an early believer in what we’re building. But her story started long before Monarch. Rachel came to Los Angeles in search of something more aligned with her interestes. After beginning her career on Wall Street, Rachel quickly realized that traditional finance wasn’t the environment she wanted to build her life around. While others brought coffee to the trading floor, she was bringing homemade kombucha. Even then, she knew she wanted to invest in companies that helped people live healthier lives. Since then, she has built a portfolio of consumer wellness brands through Wellness Growth Ventures and has become a trusted voice for founders navigating growth, fundraising, and brand positioning in the health space with her podcast, the 2% club. So what does she look for when backing a company? Ferociousness. Not just a great product. Not just a trend. The attitude of the founder. The ability to withstand uncertainty. She bets on the person first, because in her view, that’s what determines whether a company survives. Catch the full conversation now on Youtube or Spotify.

TBH… I like Substack more than LinkedIn. LinkedIn is where we show up 'professionally'. Substack is where I actually think. It’s where I go long. Where I break down deals. Where I connect dots across retail, capital, culture, and the business of wellness. Since launching, it’s been a Top 100 Rising Health & Wellness (currently #21). Which tells me something interesting. There’s an appetite for depth. So as part of my new Shoot My Shot series, this month I’m aiming it there. If you like my posts here but wish they went deeper… If you care about where wellness is going before it’s obvious… If you want strategy, not summaries… Come to Substack. Read. Reply. Upgrade if it resonates. Build with me.

I had the most '“Rachel” first week back from Spain — the kind that captures exactly what modern wellness looks like when you’re not just living it from every angle, but it’s also your business. In the morning I was at Poosh by Kourtney Kardashian Barker's Guest House in Beverly Hills, guiding sound healing and connecting with founders, creators, and cultural catalysts who are shaping what “wellness” even means now. Then in the afternoon, I was speaking on a J.P. Morgan panel about the business of wellness — where capital is flowing, how consumer behavior is shifting, and why the next decade belongs to brands that blend health with hospitality. That’s what defines Wellness Growth Ventures. We’re not watching from the sidelines — we’re embedded in the ecosystem. We invest in companies we’d personally use, founders we’d spend weekends with, and movements we believe will outlast trends. From influencer-led experiences to institutional panels, we sit at the crossroads of community and commerce — and that’s where the real alpha in wellness is being built.
