LinkedIn lead generation campaigns are expensive, burn out niche audiences fast, and produce leads your sales team does not trust. The problem is not LinkedIn. It is using a top-of-funnel channel as if it were bottom-of-funnel. Here is what works better for industrial and manufacturing companies: https://hubs.li/Q04xVv9C0 #b2bmarketing

When you hire a marketing agency to fix one problem, do they stop there? The best agencies do not. Just like a good doctor does not treat a sore throat and ignore everything else, a good agency fixes the immediate issue while keeping an eye on the health of your entire marketing program. That does not mean recommending every service at once. It means helping you prioritize what matters most right now, what can wait, and what will create lasting results over time. We wrote about what that kind of agency relationship looks like and why it matters for B2B and industrial companies: https://hubs.li/Q04mnryy0 #b2bmarketing

Video is one of the most effective tools for communicating complex industrial products and processes. It is also one of the fastest ways to tank your website's load speed if it is not handled correctly. Here is how to get the benefits without the performance hit: https://hubs.li/Q04mn3vv0 #b2bmarketing #industrialmarketing

You can check your Google rankings any time you want. But can you see whether AI mentions you when a buyer asks who makes the best valve actuator, contract manufacturer, or filtration system in your category? This is not a hypothetical concern. By some estimates, well over half of B2B buyers now consult an AI answer engine before they reach a vendor's website. And unlike traditional search, AI visibility is closer to binary: your brand is either named or it isn't. There's no position six to fall back on. Our latest newsletter covers how AI brand tracking actually works, which tools are worth knowing, and where to start if you want to know where you stand. #b2bmarketing

AI is not going to replace industrial marketing expertise. But industrial marketers who use AI will outpace those who do not. Here is where it is making the biggest difference right now: https://hubs.li/Q04mnp_50 #b2bmarketing

Inconsistent business listings across directories quietly hurt your local search rankings. For industrial companies with regional offices or multi-location operations, citation management is worth the attention. Here is how the four main tools compare: https://hubs.li/Q04mnf4M0 #b2bmarketing

You can check your Google rankings any time you want. But do you know whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI Overviews mention your company when a buyer asks who makes the best product in your category? For B2B industrial and manufacturing companies, that question is no longer hypothetical. Well over half of B2B buyers now consult an AI answer engine before they reach a vendor's website. And AI visibility is closer to binary than search rankings. Your brand is either named or it is not. There is no page-one position six to fall back on. The tools to track this exist and the category is maturing quickly. But measuring AI visibility works nothing like tracking a keyword ranking. AI platforms are non-deterministic, meaning the same prompt can return different answers minutes apart. You are tracking a share of voice range, not a stable position. We put together a practical guide on how it works, which tools are worth knowing, why your data will always be imperfect and what to do about it, and how to start without a big budget: https://hubs.li/Q04xD_m20 #b2bmarketing #industrialmarketing #manufacturingmarketing

How often does your industrial company publish content that your best prospects would actually find useful? Not content written to hit a publishing cadence or improve a keyword ranking. Content that answers a real question, demonstrates how you solve a specific type of problem, or gives an engineer something concrete to take back to their team. For industrial and manufacturing companies, this kind of content does more than support SEO. It builds trust with technical buyers before they ever reach out to sales, and it gives your sales team something credible to share throughout the buying process. Our latest article covers how to approach industrial content marketing in a way that actually serves your audience and your pipeline: https://hubs.li/Q04mn4Fv0 #b2bmarketing

57% of B2B marketers want a website refresh because their content and positioning is outdated. But a shiny new design without a clear strategy still falls flat on lead generation. Here is what a high-performing B2B industrial website actually needs: https://hubs.li/Q04mnmG90 #websitedesign #b2bmarketing

An 80-year-old aerospace metal finishing and NDT provider held more than 2,500 prime approvals and could perform dozens of specialized processes under one roof. Search engines saw almost none of it. The site ranked for 262 keywords, nearly all tied to the company name. We rebuilt the content architecture around how technical buyers actually search — by approval, by specification number, and by individual capability instead of broad service category. That meant 44 approval pages, 34 sub-service capability pages, a custom specification taxonomy, and an internal linking structure that connected all of it. Nine months later: 989 ranking keywords, Page 1 rankings up 379%, and organic form submissions up 383%. Organic search now delivers about a third of site traffic and two-thirds of form submissions.
