I'm super excited to share a major product milestone at Workday: 🚀 Agentic CLM is here: Contract Workflow Agent and Workday CLM 2026 R2 are now generally available! When our team set out to build Workday's Contract Workflow Agent, our goal was simple: replace the weeks of workflow creation that enterprise contract teams have always had to do by hand. 🗣️ Now you describe your approval rules conversationally, upload a sample contract, and the agent builds the workflow, extracts the key fields, and creates the intake form. Minutes, not days. 🔐 Governance comes standard, too: every action runs through your existing permissions, approval chains, and audit logs, backed by ISO 42001-certified responsible AI. So proud of the Workday Contract Management team for shipping a truly agentic experience that turns complex configuration into a simple conversation! Evisort co-founder and Workday VP Amine Anoun shares the full launch story here: https://lnkd.in/g-Ybnid9

  • Agentic CLM is here! The first thing it replaces? Weeks of workflow creation. Building a contract workflow used to mean mapping every approval rule, field, and form by hand. Now you describe your approval rules conversationally, upload a sample contract, and the Workday Contract Workflow Agent builds the workflow, extracts the key fields, and creates the intake form. Minutes, not days. And it's built to run the way your business already runs: 🗣️ Describe it, don't configure it. Plain-language rules and a sample contract are all the agent needs to construct your workflow. 🔐 Governance comes standard. Every action runs through your existing permissions, approval chains, and audit logs, backed by ISO 42001-certified responsible AI. Less time building admin infrastructure. More time keeping the business moving. Evisort co-founder and Workday VP Amine A. breaks down what this looks like in action: https://lnkd.in/g-Ybnid9

  • Your legal team is being asked to move faster on contracts without adding risk. That's hard to do when requests get lost between inboxes, and you can't see where anything stands. At #ACCAM26, we're sharing a first look at what's next for agentic CLM, including Workday Contract Workflow Agent, now in Early Access. Your team can build workflows in plain language, route requests to the right process, and have the agent ask follow-up questions when it needs more context. It all runs within your existing roles, permissions, approval chains, and audit trails, so your team gets speed and you keep control. Heading to ACC? Stop by and talk with the Workday team about where contract management is going next.

  • Your contracts aren't slow. Your workflows are. Missed reviews. Approval bottlenecks. No visibility into where an agreement is stuck. Auto-renewals nobody meant to keep. Join us October 8 for the launch of the Contract Workflow Agent, part of the Workday CLM "R2" release for 2026. Hear how agentic AI is coming to the entire contract lifecycle. In one hour, you'll learn how to: ➕ Build custom workflows in simple, natural language ➕ Use agentic intake that fills out forms and guides requesters to the right workflow ➕ Work in an agent-first experience that surfaces what matters and drives the next step Hear directly from Adam La France, Hal Marcus, and Tyler Nevans. • Couldn’t agree more, Memme Onwudiwe — Boston is the place to be for the in-house legal community this October! Workday is proud to sponsor the 2026 ACC Annual Meeting, where 3,000+ in-house counsel from around the world will come together to explore what’s next for legal. At #ACCAM26, we’ll be sharing a first look at what’s next for agentic CLM, including Workday Contract Workflow Agent, now in Early Access. It helps contract teams create workflows in plain language, route requests to the right process, ask follow-up questions when more context is needed, and operate within existing roles, permissions, approval chains, and audit trails. Because the most expensive place a contract can be is nowhere. If you’re heading to ACC, connect with the Workday team to see where contract management is going next!

  • We asked nearly 7,000 legal and enterprise professionals across 10 countries one simple question: does your organization know who owns its contracts? 🌍 Globally, the answer was sobering — 77% say only a few people know who owns, stores, and manages contracts. 🇩🇪 Germany leads the world in clarity, yet even there only 36% say employees understand contract ownership. Across most markets, it's well below a third. When the best performer still leaves two-thirds of its people in the dark, the problem isn't regional. It's structural. Where would your organization land? Read Chapter 1 of the 2026 Contract Intelligence Index Report. 🔗 https://w.day/4gIrs3j

  • Reviewing redlines at midnight is how a generation of attorneys and procurement pros learned risk tolerance. Now AI does the first pass, which raises the question every GC and CPO should sit with. If the busywork disappears, where does judgment come from? Here's the thing: the busywork was never the teacher. The partner explaining why clause 8 was a problem was the teacher. Keep that, and the apprenticeship thrives with automation.

  • Every contract team has one person who knows where everything is buried. The renewal quirk in the county agreement. The indemnification carve-out nobody wrote down. The trouble starts the day that person is out. On the Future of Work podcast, Workday product SVP Max Wessel names the problem: most institutional context is never captured. It lives in one person's head or a meeting nobody documented, and it vanishes when they leave. Paradigm CEO Joelle Emerson's answer is that AI gets truly powerful when it knows what no public model can: your organization's rules, how your team actually applies them, and the benchmarks you track internally. That's the difference between a chatbot and a colleague. Generic AI has read the internet. It hasn't read your contracts. The full conversation covers why purpose-built AI beats general models, and why the least ambitious thing to do with a technology like this is cut budgets.

  • Three people. Hundreds of contracts. And behind every clause, someone who depends on the care Woods System of Care provides. Mary Ellen, Laura, and Farrah manage the county, payer, school district, and vendor agreements that keep Woods running for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and behavioral health needs across PA and NJ. Some of the most important language is also the hardest to find, like what happens to a client's bed when they're in the hospital. It used to mean reading page by page, sometimes for days. Now the team asks the contract a question and goes straight to the answer. First-pass reviews take half the time, and a 200-page state agreement took an hour and a half instead of a few days. That's time back for the work that matters. 🔗 https://w.day/4hosXm7
