Zeal Credit Union

We recently hosted a hands-on CPR training session at Zeal Credit Union, led by the wonderful team from Advanced Cardiac Training. Thanks to their expert instruction, 21 of our team members are now officially CPR certified. At Zeal Credit Union, community well-being is at the heart of everything we do. Empowering our team with these vital skills is just one of the ways we look out for each other and the people around us. Having certified individuals on-site allows us to support: Our Members: Enhancing our community focused environment with team members who are prepared and ready to step up and help during unexpected moments. Our Community: Equipping our team with life-saving skills they carry with them into the community, extending our culture of neighbors helping neighbors far beyond our branch walls. #ZealCreditUnion #CultureChampions #LifeSavingSkills #WorkplaceSafety #EmergencyPreparedness

One of the best highlights of being part of the credit union movement is getting to know other passionate credit union professionals at events like the 2026 Metro West Charity Golf Outing! ⛳ From volunteers to golfers, the Zeal Credit Union team made meaningful connections while raising money for multiple charities that do meaningful work in Southeast Michigan. Our team is so thankful and proud to have played part in this charitable outing and hope to meet many more new faces next year. Thank you again to the Metro West Chapter of Credit Unions and the Golf Outing Committee for putting on an amazing event! 🧡 #creditunionmovement #zealcreditunion #metrowestchapterofcreditunions #charitygolfouting #supportingthecommunity #ConnectingAcrossCreditUnions

At Zeal Credit Union, the connections we build with our team blossom from more than just workday tasks. Friday Fun Polls are one of the many ways we help facilitate these connections and learn more about the passionate team that makes up the Zeal Credit Union community. 🧡   Everyone in our workday family has decades of stories to share, and those experiences only enhance our understanding of each other (and our membership!). So, whether we're asking something as simple as "are you a cat or dog person?" or something deeper like "how do you decompress after a hectic day?" - we're continually learning from and about each other in new and wonderful ways.   Real conversations. Meaningful connections. That's Zeal Credit Union.   #ZealCreditUnion #CultureInAction #FunAtWork #SparkingConversationAndConnection #TheZealDifference

A sweet treat for an even sweeter team! 🍦 In celebration of National Vanilla Ice Cream Day, we took the opportunity to pause, connect, and share a sweet treat with our incredible team here at Zeal. After all, there's no better way to beat the mid-summer heat than with a classic ice cream float bar! YUM! The "Zeal" in our name is a direct representation of the amazing people who push our mission forward every single day by showing up with passion, empathy, and character. Taking a few minutes to laugh, catch up, and enjoy a float together is one of the many small ways we say a big "thank you" to our team members for all of their hard work day after day. 🧡 #FunAtWork #NationalVanillaIceCreamDay #CultureChampions #TeamAppreciation #ZealCreditUnion

Did you know that many American and European companies began offering coffee breaks as one of the first employee benefits? Designed to improve morale, connection, and productivity, coffee breaks are the perfect opportunity for workers to reset and refocus.   At Zeal Credit Union, we know that culture is built in the everyday moments, whether that's through collaboration with coworkers, supporting our members, or taking a few minutes to recharge with something warm and delicious. After all, investing in people is not only good for business, it's also at the heart of who we are and how we show up for our community each day. 🧡   How do YOU recharge during your workday? Share your favorite tips in the comments!   #ZealCreditUnion #FunAtWork #ResetRefocus #InvestingInPeople

Last month, we had the opportunity to attend The Guidance Center's Summer Glow fundraiser - an event created to celebrate, connect, and raise funds that will help children and families in our community. Zeal's Patty Johnson was honored at the event, taking a moment to spotlight the long-standing (and growing!) partnership between Zeal Credit Union and The Guidance Center. 🧡 Patty spoke on the impact we've been able to make together since 2022 when Zeal hosted our first annual Day of Service and Zeal the Love Holiday Gathering. Over the years, Zeal has been able to directly support more than 70 individuals through this partnership, including our work during the holidays to help provide Michigan families with gifts, toys, clothing, and necessities. We remain grateful for the opportunity to work closely with such an integral and valuable organization, and look forward to many more years of partnership together! #zealcreditunion #zealthelove #guidancecentermi #CommunityPartnership #MakingADifference

Budgeting for home repairs with today's rising prices isn't always straight forward or easy. That's why Zeal Credit Union is pleased to spotlight Marsha Plymale, recipient of the Revive - Home Repair Grant 💸 (made possible by Zeal Credit Union and the FHLBank Indianapolis). A 6-year member of Zeal, Marsha received $14,026 in grant funds, that she won't have to pay back, to replace the windows and HVAC system in her home - just in time for the peak summer heat! ☀️ When asked what this grant means to her, Marsha replied, "A blessing. My furnace was 45 years old, built in '84, and the central air was '91. The windows were broken in the back and now they can be fixed the right way instead of with duct tape and plastic! A blessing. That's the word I've used. What a blessing." From everyone here at Zeal Credit Union: Congratulations, Marsha! 🧡 We wish you many, many years of crisp A/C, cozy heat, and perfectly sealed windows. We are so happy to have played a part in your home improvement journey. To read more about this and other amazing member moments, visit ZealCU.org/News-Events!
