Dear Friends, Alumni, and Members of the Miami Ad School Atlanta community,
It is with deep sorrow that we convey the heartbreaking news of Melissa Kuperminc's passing, a cherished and dedicated educator at our school for many years. Melissa courageously faced a formidable battle with cancer since July, and regrettably, her health deteriorated significantly in the past week. Today, after a valiant struggle, she has departed from us.
Melissa shared a fondness for Leonard Cohen, and she consistently reminded everyone she encountered of his uplifting words,"There is a crack in everything; that's how the light gets in." Let us now be the ones to let the light in for her. If you feel inclined to pen a brief letter expressing your love and gratitude for Melissa, even in her absence, it would profoundly touch her family. They will be reading these letters, finding solace in the warmth and lasting impact she has had on so many.
For more than two decades, Melissa played a vital role in the Miami Ad School Atlanta and the education community, leaving an indelible mark on countless students, faculty, staff, and others with her guidance and wisdom. Expressing our feelings in moments like these becomes a poignant and crucial gesture.
In the coming weeks, we will organize a Celebration of Life to honor Melissa. Let us unite to demonstrate the love and appreciation she so richly deserves. If you wish to contribute a letter, kindly address it to Melissa and share directly with her husband, Gabe, at his email:

Together, let's celebrate the remarkable teacher, mentor, and friend that Melissa has been to us all. Your words will undoubtedly provide comfort and solace to herfamily during this challenging time.
With heartfelt condolences,
Miami Ad School Atlanta
