Chad Janis shared this🟠 I have an exciting announcement but also a favor to ask: run to your nearest Costco this week and buy some Immün at the entrance to your warehouse. It's hard to miss -- every warehouse will have these bright orange boxes at the front. 🛒 But just for the next 2 weeks!! Our 13-in-1 immunity-support gummies, Immün, just landed at Costco, and this is our THIRD Costco launch of 2026. We're genuinely grateful that Costco keeps leaning in. Some brands spend years trying to earn a single shot at Costco. We see this opportunity from Costco as ours to prove. For the next two weeks, the 35-count Immün is on front-of-warehouse pallets in every single Costco warehouse. Here's the thing: immunity is a seasonal category, so this is a limited run at Costco. But Immün was built different: a formulation that we want immunity-aware consumers to build a daily habit around and stack benefits from. How Immün does over these two weeks at Costco decides whether it sticks around or disappears after the season. So if you've been keen to try Immün, now's the chance: 👉 Grab a box at your nearest Costco 👉 You've got 2 weeks 👉 Tell your friends Frankly, Immün is my favorite of all of our gummy flavors. It's got a subtle spice kick from the powerful underlying ingredients, mixed with a sweet pineapple flavor. Some might call it peppy pineapple. Huge thanks to our Grüns Club team for making this happen, and to the Costco team for betting on us a third time. 🙏 To our community: thank you for continually showing up for every launch! 💚

Chad Janis shared thisThe coolest upgrade we’ve done for our Grüns customers is finally here! Our new loyalty program, Exclüsives, is live. And it took a strong technical team to make it work seamlessly for you. I’m excited to share more below! Getting someone to try our Grüns gummies once is the first step, but building an experience that our customers continue to use and love is the ultimate goal. We're never done making Grüns better, and Exclüsives is our biggest upgrade yet. We kept hearing the same thing from our customers: "Please bring back XYZ flavor. It was my favorite!" The funny part is that our customers’ flavor requests were for a different flavor almost every time. So instead of picking one or two flavors to bring back, we built a way for everyone to pick their own favorites and keep them long-term. The Exclüsives Flavor Vault lets you build a custom quarterly box from the limited-time flavors you've previously loved and have continued to crave. That's one of the differences between the new Exclüsives tiers. Our Golden Gummy tier is for quarterly subscribers and includes the full Flavor Vault. Our Green Gummy tier is for monthly subscribers, who now unlock new evergreen flavors. Both subscriptions come with better pricing, access, and discounts at our (also) NEW merch store, and discounts to your favorite brands (VIP access). I've been told our merch is top quality, like actually premium materials. I'm considering converting my entire wardrobe to 15 units of our Grüns T-shirt. 👕🧢 Anyone in consumer knows that pulling off something like Exclüsives is a huge effort across ecommerce, subscriber experience, marketing, operations, product, and many more functions. It’s a whole-team effort! Congrats to the Grüns team for making our customers' journey even more customizable and PERSONALLY enjoyable. Shop Grüns wherever works best for ü. We’re excited to make our website the full depth of the Grüniverse: every flavor, the limited drops, and now Exclüsives.

Chad Janis shared this🍪 Nütrops COSMIC COOKIES & CREAM is here!! 🍪 And WOW, this is one yummy gummy. RUN, RUN, RUN! Here are 7 important facts for you: 1. Nütrops Cosmic Cookies & Cream is our first-ever limited-time flavor for Nütrops. 2. You have probably never eaten a cookies & cream gummy before. 3. Nütrops Cosmic Cookies & Cream gummies are stupid delicious. Like it’s-hard-to-believe-no-one-has-made-a-cookies-and-cream-gummy-before good. 4. You are probably going to buy Nütrops Cosmic Cookies & Cream gummies. 5. You will be shocked that nootropics can taste this good. It’s wizardry. 6. You will be glad you bought Nütrops Cosmic Cookies & Cream before they sold out. If you don’t end up buying, honestly, I’m not complaining. Just means there’s more for the Grüns team and me. 💜 S/o to the Grüns team as always for pulling off ANOTHER incredible flavor! You all continue to amaze me, delighting our customers, and making health something people can actually look forward to. 👏

Chad Janis shared thisSh*t happens. Finally. 💩 Introducing Müves! A triple-fiber blend that you'll actually look forward to and finish. For 16-23 million people, sh*t does not, in fact, happen. For many more, meeting daily fiber needs is a difficult daily task. Those thick sludge fiber "drinks" just aren't cutting it. For everyone who tried fiber once, gagged, and gave up -- we created Müves. On-the-go 10g of fiber in a delicious pack of strawberry kiwi-flavored gummies. Most people fear the fix from fiber will be worse than the problem itself, so we've leaned heavily into comfort, not just total grams of prebiotic fiber. But Müves total grams also deliver more than the leading fiber powder. Müves: a daily delicious pack of gummies delivering 10g of fiber that keeps things müving. Available today at muves.co ! Howdy doody. 🤠 Congrats to everyone on the Grüns team for bringing another incredible innovation to market!

Chad Janis shared this🎯 🛒 A full pallet at 850 Target stores! I rushed to my local Target yesterday to see our most meaningful activation yet -- the entire Ü Snacks portfolio on one display. Grüns, Nütrops, Immün, and Jüced (+ our latest limited-time Grüns flavor), all side by side. Our first-ever Target pallet. I stood there a good five minutes, just reflecting on the journey and partnership we've had with Target. 2.5 years ago, I was meeting the Target team for the first time. Today, the Grüns team took a brand-new pallet concept from sketch to 850 store floors in six months. Honestly, it's still surreal how far this business has come in 3 years. 🙏 Huge thanks to the people who made this happen: Katherine, Sofi, Sandya, Kristin, Clarissa, Anne, and Paul. And to the whole Target team for betting on us again and again. 3 years behind us. I can't wait to see what the next 3 hold. Still just the start. 🐻

Chad Janis shared thisI raced my last Ironman 70.3 in December 2025. It was awesome. I improved my PR by 23% with just 6 months of additional training. Then I disappeared from the start line. Here's what happened in the eight months since December 2025: we entered diligence with Unilever. We closed the acquisition. Our youngest son learned how to crawl out of bed at all hours of the night. And I spent the last 2-3 months doing the most important work of my career -- kicking off onboarding, welcoming Unilever and Grüns, and making sure our 130+ person team can accelerate toward our ambitious vision ahead. The balance between work and life I preach? For most of the last 8 months, it didn't exist. At least, not in the way that I personally want it. Training went from mostly twice a day (9 cardio trainings and 2 weightlifting sessions weekly) to whenever I could get a workout in, typically 5-7 workouts weekly. The race calendar went blank. Here's what I learned: There are periods in life. You will not be perfectly balanced all the time. And pretending otherwise just adds guilt on top of exhaustion. You may have a busy work period. You may have just welcomed a baby to your family (sleepless nights, right?). You may be facing some personal hardship. Two things matter during a period of imbalance: (1) Be patient and kind to yourself. A season of imbalance in service of something that matters isn't failure. It's the price of the thing. It's an intentional trade. (2) Keep working -- for as long as it takes -- to get back to the setup you thrive in. Balance isn't something you find. It's something you rebuild. Often, it takes months of consistent work to get back to your start line. The good news? The Grüns team is in a great place. Our business is in a great place. Which means it's time to start building again -- AND time to pick my next start line. Back to two-a-days. Back to the pursuit. I'm a better CEO for my team when I have this balance. If you're in your own season of imbalance right now: be patient, keep working, and know the other side is there -- but only as you put in the consistent work to get there. 🐻 P.S. For anyone trying to do math, my Strava doesn't capture all of my workouts :)

Chad Janis posted thisI have one love language. And I have one pet peeve. Love language: accountability. Pet peeve: lack of accountability. (including for myself) More on that in a second. But first, I want to share the three cultural values we live by at Grüns, and why I'm so confident they're perfect for a high-growth environment. If you're on a leadership team, I'd encourage you to consider adopting something similar. It's good for your employees. It's good for your business. And honestly? It's good for you. ⭐ Be the Best This one is about the pursuit. Every person at Grüns is on a mission to identify what "the best" actually looks like in their role and function -- and then work tirelessly toward that destination. Here's the catch: you'll never reach it. "The best" is a moving target. That's the point. The pursuit itself is what compounds. When 130+ people at Grüns are all chasing a standard that keeps rising, the entire org levels up together. ⭐ Own It Back to my love language. 🐻 Mistakes happen at every company. No problem. Mistakes have never been the issue and will never be the issue. What matters from mistakes is what happens next. Own your mistakes and the actions and decisions that led to those unintended outcomes. Document what went wrong. Proactively document what you want to change so that particular mistake never happens again. That's it. That's the whole standard. When accountability is the default, trust is the byproduct. And trust is what lets a team move fast without looking over their shoulders. ⭐ Drive Impact, Urgently This cultural value recalibrates the entire org on what actually matters. Motion is unimportant. Busy calendars, long documents, endless meetings, dozens of "tasks" -- none of it counts. What counts is actual impact: doing the things that drive business growth. And the "urgently" part is not decoration. If you identify something that should be done, do it today. Don't wait a few days. Don't schedule it as an initiative for weeks or months out. If you know something will impact the org, realize that impact today. Why am I so confident in these three? Because in a high-growth environment, your values can't be posters on a wall. They have to be operating instructions. Be the Best sets the standard. Own It protects the trust. Drive Impact, Urgently sets the speed. The results our Grüns culture has driven these last 3 years speak for themselves: a profitable business, one of the fastest-scaling businesses ever, an employee NPS of 76 (245% above the average company), and a team that's genuinely having the time of their lives building together. Values like these are good for employees: they get clarity, ownership, and real growth. These values are good for the business: impact compounds daily. And the values are good for you as a leader: because when your team owns outcomes, you get to lead instead of manage.

Chad Janis shared thisIn light of recent news... it was time for Grüns to lawyer up. So we hired the best. Gummies are awesome. We're glad others are finally coming to publicly acknowledge that too. More gummies! Grüns will keep leading the way. 🐻 Your healthiest habit is the one you'll actually keep. Thanks for letting us support your daily nutrition! Here's to more innovation, more fun, and greater impact in millions of people's lives.

Chad Janis posted thisToday marks three years since I launched Grüns (BIG announcement below!). Reflecting on this time, so much has happened. We grew from just a handful of us into a group of 100+ incredibly smart people I love working with. We went from one hero product to a suite of products, with so much more innovation on the way. We now ship more than 10M gummies a day (which is probably close to the number I've personally consumed at this point), and have grown our retail presence to truly be best in class. But none of it, not the milestones, not the acquisition, not the team I'm so proud of, happens without our customers. You're the reason Grüns made it to year three. So here's how we want to say thank you: 👉 Starting August 11 (today, our birthday!), we're dropping the price by 17% across Grüns, Jüced, Immün, and Nütrops -- from $59.99 to $49.99 for a single subscription. This isn't a short-term deal or promo, and there's no tiny asterisk. It's the new price! Current subscribers will immediately get the new, lower price. No action needed from you. Thank you! With three years of growth comes scale and thousands of hours of careful work poured into our supply chain by the Grüns team. As we've scaled, we've found real efficiencies in how we run our business. We didn't want to just bank those savings for ourselves. Instead, we want our customers to experience the savings and our hard work. And honestly, the best part is knowing a more accessible price means more people get to experience daily what our community has believed in for three years. Same Grüns. Same formula and quality standards. New lower price. So thank you to the entire Grüns team, my family, the Unilever team, and our incredible retail partners. And most importantly, thank YOU for the past three years. Excited to see where we go in the years to come. Happy birthday, Grüns!

Great HLTH 2025. Some big trends I saw: - Drug distribution is going direct - Payers want vendors to take risk - Everyone has a chatbot - Behavioral health is maturing - FDA clearance is the new Series B - Post-discharge is a big opportunity - Diagnostics are becoming portable and ROI-oriented - Provider workflows are becoming consumer-grade

At Bread and Butter Ventures, we're in our 7th year of investing in digital health. I've been hearing a lot of feedback lately from both funds and founders alike that VC funding for tech-enabled care delivery is fewer and far between these days. I'm super bullish on tech-enabled care as a component of a digital health portfolio because I believe that true, lasting innovation will be driven by bottoms-up early stage innovation responding to top-down industry pain points, and that to innovate we must have distribution through the incumbent plumbing of the healthcare system - and that includes care at the center. Yes, the margins are lower than pure software, but the distribution network of healthcare is very different than pure B2B. We're super interested right now in: ✅ Applications of AI to in infrastructure and operations of health care systems, provider networks, health plans to reduce manual work and enable everyone to operate at their best and highest use ✅ Applications of AI to clinical decision support and ultimately care delivery ✅ Solutions that address population health and help with access to care in both rural and urban settings (both from a care & cost perpspective), cardiometabolic health, women's health (still wildly uninvested opportunities to serve half the population), eldercare ✅ Insurtech, fintech and the payments layer of healthcare We would love to connect with more co-investors at all stages (pre-seed, seed, later stage) who are actively investing in digital health and specifically at tech-enabled care solutions to drive the next generation of healthcare innovation. Please DM us or tag a firm/investor here!

In this article for LvlUp Ventures, I shared 15 of the best actionable lessons from top venture capital investors based in Texas and Latin America, focused on fundraising, product-market-fit, finance, and how they evaluate founders and startups. 📄 This article is based on in-depth VC insights from interviews 🎙️ featured on the InspirAcción Startup Podcast y Newsletter. (*) InspirAcción in Spanish = InspireAction in English. 🎯 No fluff. No recycled advice. Just real perspective from investors actively deploying capital across the U.S. and LatAm. ⬇️ Below are 4 of the 15 key takeaways 𝟏) 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝟓𝟎 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 - Content is crucial, but how you communicate it effectively matters just as much. - Ideally include one slide that highlights your competitive advantage versus both direct and indirect competitors, positioning your startup as the ideal solution to solve the problem for your target segment. - Use the main message of each slide as the headline (not generic titles like “The Problem” or “The Solution”). By Mariano González Vasconcelos, Founder & General Partner at MGV Capital. 𝟐) 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞: 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐬 You need to dedicate many hours not only to preparing materials, but also to mental and physical preparation to hear a large number of “no’s.” The human body is not built to handle that much rejection. Ending a 9–10 hour day of calls without a single “yes” can be brutal. If you’re not mentally prepared, it can really bring you down. By Damaris Mendoza Loera, Partner at 500 Global. 𝟑) 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐮𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 It’s critical to have a data room ready before starting the fundraising process. For us, interviewing employees, former employees, customers, and potential customers is essential. It’s one of the areas where we gather the most insights before investing. Having all of this ready in advance makes the process much more efficient. By Federico Gómez Romero, Head of Cathay Latam. 𝟒) 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 For example, have one person focused on business, one on technology, and one on operations. Execution capability is key, founders must be operators and move fast. To truly assess this, it’s important to look not only at what they’ve executed before, but also how they executed it. Before I became a VC, I was a founder six times. Those experiences permanently changed the way I think about venture capital. A check can accelerate a company. It cannot replace customers, judgment, technical expertise, recruiting, and perseverance. Or, perhaps most importantly, someone willing to tell a founder hard truths when the easy answers are wrong. I’ve also come to believe something else: Capital is necessary. It is nowhere close to sufficient. Good VCs help you close your next round. Great VCs help you build a lasting business from scratch. I’m grateful to the National Venture Capital Association and Jessica W. for featuring our story and giving me the opportunity to talk about what Cortado Ventures is building across the U.S. Midcontinent. There is extraordinary innovation happening in aerospace & defense, energy, healthcare, manufacturing, mobility, logistics, space and other critical industries. In this era of rapid change, we believe that proximity will matter even more. And this is just the beginning. #VentureCapital #FrontierTech #Midcontinent
