Growth story… or execution risk in disguise? Vision Oil And Gas (OTC: $AZRH) is making a bold move beyond its Permian stronghold and the market should be paying attention. The acquisition of Anadarko Basin, LLC assets isn’t just another deal. It’s a strategic pivot towards geographic diversification and production scale. 320 gas wells. 114 oil wells. 14 acquisitions in under a year. That’s not expansion, that’s acceleration. Here’s where it gets interesting 👇 Over 90% of the Anadarko wells were previously shut-in. Now, management is betting on operational turnaround + capital efficiency to unlock value. If successful: ➡️ Gas production could reach 10,000–15,000 MCFE/day ➡️ Permian output could jump from 35 BOPD to 150–200 BOPD ➡️ Target: 1,000 BOPD by October 2026 Ambitious? Absolutely. Achievable? That’s where execution risk comes in. This is a classic energy sector growth strategy: Acquire underperforming assets Optimise operations Scale production Align with capital markets (uplisting + potential dual listing) But here’s the catch 👇 Revenue guidance of $14.2M is tied to NYMEX pricing and assumes smooth reactivation. Add in geopolitical volatility (hello oil price swings), and the margin for error narrows fast. Insight Finance News view: This is a high-upside, high-execution story. Vision Oil & Gas isn’t just buying assets, it’s buying complexity, operational risk, and timing pressure. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/djGNfu4e So the real question is: Is this a smart consolidation play ahead of a market re-rating… Or an overextension in a volatile commodity cycle? What’s your take on this Anadarko Basin acquisition strategy? Would you back aggressive scaling in today’s energy market, or wait for proof of execution? Let’s discuss #EnergyMarkets #OilAndGas #GrowthStrategy #EnergyTransition #Investing

Gas is becoming the practical lever for speed to power in the US. NextEra Energy, Inc. is advancing plans for ~10GW of new gas-fired capacity across Texas and Pennsylvania, while LS Power Power has acquired a ~4.4GW portfolio of gas assets from Constellation at an enterprise value of ~$5bn, ~$1,142/kW. In parallel, renewables (wind and solar) now generating over 17% of US electricity. A shift gaining real traction toward power that is less exposed to fuel price volatility and less reliant on concentrated geopolitical supply chains. These moves reflect load growth that is outpacing infrastructure, alongside a renewed focus on domestic, reliable energy supply amid geopolitical uncertainty. Speed to power is now a major constraint. Interconnection queues, transmission delays, and deployment timelines are pushing developers toward capacity that can be financed and delivered with certainty, particularly as hyperscale and AI-driven demand accelerates.

I expect domestic shale output to decline, as average WTI pricing for 2026 trade south of $60 per barrel (perhaps to average $55 per barrel), or between $5 to $8 per barrel below the average breakeven cost of an efficient, large Permian producer. This decline in upstream shale output is likely to keep oil prices no worse than the low to mid $50s. I further project an approximate 2.65 mm/bd over oversupply next year, which will continue to pressure pricing well into 2026. This will largely be self correcting entering late 2026. I will probably be buying crude prone E&P stocks in mid 1Q2026. I continue to own my favorite natural gas equities, which I have often mentioned on LinkedIn.
