David Means reposted thisDavid Means reposted thisWe’re proud to announce a successful clinical go-live with Stamford Health, featuring the enterprise-wide integration of Aidoc’s aiOS™ to deliver AI insights across 16 distinct use cases into radiologist workflows, assisting in the flagging of critical imaging findings improving diagnostic outcomes and patient care. Stamford Health saw the real-world impact immediately, sharing that Aidoc is providing peace of mind during high-stress shifts. Dr. Ronald Lee, Chair of Radiology at Stamford Health, highlighted how the operating system supports their team by helping streamline care coordination and case prioritization during high-volume shifts. He noted that while it doesn't replace their meticulous workflow, having automated notifications for suspected findings running in the background is invaluable for prioritizing time-sensitive cases, especially when covering the ED and managing massive patient volumes. Moments like these highlight exactly why these implementations are so meaningful in showing how AI can optimize workflows and support physicians when they need it most. A huge thank you to the Stamford team for the incredible partnership, energy, and collaboration that made this milestone possible!

David Means reposted thisDavid Means reposted thisCMS just made it easier for hospitals to budget for our AI. Starting October 1st, Aidoc’s CARE™ Body CT Multi-Triage solution is eligible for the New Technology Add-on Payment (NTAP) program, allowing health systems to code qualifying inpatient cases for additional Medicare reimbursement. We’ve always focused on building AI that delivers both clinical impact and a clear financial return on investment. Now, that value is further strengthened by a defined reimbursement pathway that can help offset adoption costs and support broader scale. Clinical value. Financial value. And now, reimbursement to ease the dilemma even further. https://lnkd.in/eSH49zJ3

David Means reposted thisDavid Means reposted thisHealthcare lives by "do no harm." Tech lives by "move fast." Finding the right path forward requires doing it together. That’s why 12 of the largest US health systems and Aidoc are teaming up to launch the Diagnostic AI Consortium. A first-of-its-kind collaboration defining, validating, and co-designing workflows to accelerate the future of diagnostic AI straight from the front lines of care. Building safe, effective diagnostic AI isn't something any tech company or health system can do on its own. It requires real-world governance, continuous iteration, and an uncompromised focus on quality of care. Real-world testing in real clinical workflows, built by the physicians and care teams who rely on it every day. Together, these health systems care for 20 million patient lives annually, defining how AI actually gets deployed where it matters most. David Means liked thisSome stories remind you why the work matters. Carolyn's is definitely one of them. Every day, teams across Aidoc — engineering, product, analytics, clinical value, commercial marketing and more work behind the scenes toward one mission: to improve patient care with Clinical AI. We build it, we educate on it and we tell its story. Today we get to tell my favorite kind of story: the human one. Carolyn could be any of us — a parent, a partner, a friend. Most of us will have medical imaging at some point. When we do, we want to know our care team has the tools to find what matters and act on it fast. At WellSpan Health they do. They're showing what care looks like when clinical AI supports care teams every day. Thank you to the WellSpan team for your partnership and to Carolyn for allowing us to share your story!David Means liked thisCarolyn rang the bell for the second time. At 82, she'd beaten cancer again and was ready to get back to camping trips, family time and the active life she shares with her husband of 62 years. Then a routine follow-up scan found something unexpected: a suspected blood clot in her lung. Through WellSpan Health's use of Aidoc, the suspected finding was flagged and prioritized, notifying the clinical care team so they could confirm and coordinate care immediately. Within about an hour, Carolyn's care team was reaching out. She went to WellSpan York Hospital and received treatment the same day. Carolyn's story shows the human impact of faster imaging workflows and what our partnership with WellSpan Health is built to support across the health system. Since implementing Aidoc in 2023, WellSpan has cut outpatient critical-case imaging turnaround time from 25 hours to about two hours. More than 6,000 patients have benefited from earlier case prioritization across over 1.7 million scans analyzed to date. Carolyn is just one of those patients, who have benefited from WellSpan Health’s innovative use of technology and dedication to putting its patients first. See Carolyn and Dr. Lim pictured recently below. Learn how Aidoc and WellSpan Health are supporting more coordinated care: https://lnkd.in/dUz6Sm23

David Means liked thisDavid Means liked thisCarolyn finished six rounds of chemo and rang the bell for the second time. Her follow-up CT scan was meant to just be a routine scan. It wasn’t. Aidoc flagged a suspected pulmonary embolism, a potentially life threatening condition. Within an hour, her care team at WellSpan Health had a plan. By the time she arrived at WellSpan York Hospital, they were ready to start treatment. An algorithm surfacing a finding is step one, but it goes nowhere without a health system committed to building the workflows to act on it. WellSpan has done exactly this: since going live with Aidoc in 2023, the team reports cutting outpatient critical-case imaging turnaround from 25 hours to ~2. Across 1.7 million scans, more than 6,000 patients have had their cases prioritized. Behind each of those numbers is someone just like Carolyn. Cancer treatment already demands so much of patients and their families, and it's a sacred duty to provide the best available care. Helping health systems deliver on that promise when patients need it most is why we do this work. Thank you to the WellSpan Health team for building this with us, and to Carolyn for sharing your story. Read Carolyn's story here: https://lnkd.in/e6QjaDxk

David Means liked thisDavid Means liked thisAn AI alert is not a patient outcome. At Newsweek's AI Health Summit in New York, I was encouraged by how often the conversation moved beyond what the technology can do to what *actually* changes for patients. As a physician that is the question I care about most. Finding an abnormality is only the beginning. Does the right clinician see it? Is someone responsible for the next step? Does the patient receive appropriate care sooner? Without those connections, more detection can simply create more unfinished work. The discussions reinforced something central to my work at Aidoc: clinical AI implementation needs to be a care delivery effort, with technology supporting it. That means involving physicians, nurses & operational teams from the start, designing reliable handoffs, and measuring whether care actually improves not just whether a tool gets used. Administrative efficiency matters. But we should be just as ambitious about preventing harm, shortening delays in diagnosis & treatment and giving clinicians more time to care for people. I was especially encouraged by the discussion about sharing implementation lessons across health systems. We should not all have to rediscover the same workflow challenges independently! Sharing what works, what fails & how we evaluate performance should be part of the work particularly to help extend the benefits to rural and less resourced settings. I left energized by the possibilities but also reminded of our responsibility to distinguish enthusiasm from evidence. The goal is not a hospital with more AI. It is a health system where fewer patients fall through the cracks. Thank you to Newsweek and the clinicians, health system leaders & innovators who brought such practical perspectives to the conversation. #PatientSafety #ClinicalAI #HealthcareInnovation

David Means liked thisDavid Means liked thisOne of the clearest themes in healthcare AI right now is that building the technology is only part of the challenge. The harder work is making it something clinicians can trust, rely on and use at scale. Joshua Streit, AVP of Digital Transformation at Aidoc, shares his perspective on what that actually looks like in practice, from the role of foundation models to building systems that are responsible, accessible and useful across very different care environments. We’re grateful to have Aidoc supporting the UT REAL Health AI Symposium and bringing an important perspective to the conversations happening in Austin. Looking forward to continuing the discussion on October 7–8 #UTRealHealthAI

Telehealth and remote patient monitoring are changing the future of DME. Chronic disease management is moving into the home, and that shift creates new opportunities for providers who are building the right systems now. More monitoring devices. More supplies. More resupply programs. More patient data. More recurring care needs. For DME providers, the opportunity is not just in supplying equipment. It is in understanding where devices, documentation, physician partnerships, and compliance all come together. Some DME companies will supply the devices. Others will support ongoing monitoring programs. And the strongest operators may build service models around both. But RPM is not simple revenue. It requires deeper documentation, time tracking, physician review, HIPAA controls, cybersecurity safeguards, and a compliance structure that can support the model before it scales. Physician practices want the revenue opportunity of RPM, but many do not want the operational burden. That is where prepared DME providers can create value. The operators who build the compliance layer, documentation workflow, and physician enablement strategy early will be positioned for the next stage of DME growth. In this market, the future belongs to providers who prepare before the shift becomes obvious. Navigating the ever-changing regulatory framework in healthcare is no easy feat—but it's essential for your agency's growth and reputation. Regulations evolve regularly, and staying reactive isn't enough anymore. You need to anticipate changes, adapt quickly, and turn compliance into a strategic advantage. Otherwise, delays, unexpected inspections, or missed opportunities could hold you back. Take a recent example: we worked with a domiciliary care agency aiming to expand by adding Treatment of Diseases, Disorder and Injury (TDDI) to their registration. With tailored policies and interview prep, they sailed through the CQC process without a hitch—and opened the door to new clients and services. What does this mean for you? Early preparation and expert guidance don't just keep you compliant; they empower you to lead confidently in a shifting environment. Instead of playing catch-up, you become the agency that grows through change. So, how is your agency preparing for evolving regulations? Is compliance a hurdle or a stepping stone? Let's start that conversation and make sure your next move is a confident one. #HomeCareAgency #CareBusinessStartUp #HomeCareAgency #CareBusinessStartUp
