Women's telehealth company Midi Health has raised $100 million in a Series D funding round, valuing the women’s telehealth company at more than $1 billion and cementing its status as a unicorn. The round was led by Goodwater Capital, with new backing from Foresite Capital and Serena Ventures, alongside existing investors including GV (Google Ventures), @Emerson Collective, McKesson Ventures, Felicis Ventures, AVP | Advance Venture Partners and SemperVirens VC. Aescape CEO Eric Litman pivots to create health optimisation membership company 🥇 Eric Litman, CEO of New York-based lifestyle robotics company Aescape, has announced he'll be starting a new company – Healthspanners – to focus on improving healthspan. After eight years with Litman at the helm of the company, Aescape’s automated massage technology is now located in more than 100 locations operated by brands such as Equinox, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Life Time Inc. and Marriott International. During his time at Aescape, Litman has been tracking his own health privately and learning how to make improvements. In a LinkedIn post, he says he is in the best shape of his life at 52 – better even than at 35. He says he shared his findings with athletes, founders and investors and came to the conclusion that health optimisation is a lonely business of figuring out one’s own biological constraints and requirements.
