One person saw a Three Way truck making the trip between California and Austin. Another sent me this photo driving from Austin back to DFW. I love that Three Way Logistics, Inc. is asset-based. Our drivers, our equipment and our experience in the mission critical world.

Gary Martin liked thisGary Martin liked thisCongratulations are in order for several team members who made the finals and earned top honors at this year's American Trucking Associations National Truck Driving Championships. I want to especially shout out FedEx couriers Bob Cochran and Bob Ledoux, and service provider driver Logan Stacho (of SJZ LOGISTIC INC), who earned the highest rankings in their respective classes. These finalists, plus all of the Team FedEx competitors, keep safety at the forefront of everything they do. Thank you for representing FedEx so well on the course and on the road each day.

Smith. The person who did so much for the city of Memphis got honored with the naming of the Memphis International Airport to Fredrick W. Smith International Airport. There are leadership traits that he taught employees everyday: Visit the operations and see where the rubber meets the road these are the hero’s, he gave the gift of high expectations but valued people—when I presented to him he made you feel like the most important person in the room, be grateful and humble everyday, and he taught us all to play the strategic long game where he positioned FedEx for the success we have today. Leaders like Fredrick Smith don’t come around often, but when they do they bless every person on the team! BZ Mr Smith Absolutely Positively

Gary Martin liked thisGary Martin liked thisFedEx takes our commitment to safety seriously – it’s part of our foundation and it’s infused in everything we do. I recently spent time with some of the safest drivers in the industry at the FedEx Chairman’s Challenge Competition and Celebration (4C). This event gathered professional drivers who won their state truck driving competitions, a feat that requires them to be accident-free for at least 12 months prior to the competition. At 4C, we celebrated their accomplishments, recognized their dedication to safety, and attendees learned from each other in preparation for the national competition in August. This group is the best of the best when it comes to safety, and I couldn’t be prouder to have them represent #TeamFedEx.
