Gina DeCandia shared thisSo proud of this work and the incredible team behind it. Helping small businesses navigate health care is exactly why we built the Hub — grateful to be part of it.Gina DeCandia shared thisSmall businesses employ half of the American workforce – a significant contributor to community impact and economic growth. As we recognize Small Business Week, we should also shed light on the challenges these businesses face in both hiring and retaining talent. Too often, the ability to offer quality, affordable health care remains a top barrier. That’s why health care is a key pillar of JPMorganChase’s recently announced American Dream Initiative. Strengthening small business leaders’ ability to offer attractive health coverage for their workers lifts communities and supports a more competitive labor market. Today, too many of these leaders are burdened by rising costs and information opacity. We see this dynamic from various angles – and it’s why Morgan Health launched our Small Business Health Care Hub to help small businesses uncover more affordable, flexible insurance options and make more informed decisions. Check out the Health Care Hub below, and shoutout to Molly Chidester, Michelle Basta, Reed Goldberg and Gina DeCandia who are helping drive this important work. https://lnkd.in/ebGvw4u9

Gina DeCandia reposted thisGina DeCandia reposted thisWelcoming and introducing Aradigm – Morgan Health’s 11th portfolio company, officially launching today! Aradigm is entering the market at a pivotal time in health care, as the pipeline for cell and gene therapies (CGTs) expands to treat both rare and more common conditions – giving patients new hope with sustainable access to these breakthrough medications without breaking the bank for employers and payers. Right now, CGTs offer new options for diseases that were once untreatable, but they’re also spurring runaway health care costs for employers due to their high price tags, complex administration process, and added patient burdens. We know employers want to cover these treatments, but under the current system, even a single claim can significantly impact budgets. Aradigm fixes this by making coverage for these treatments work better for employers and ensuring that these therapies are administered effectively and efficiently. Heading into 2026, employers are urgently seeking pharmacy management solutions to reverse the unsustainable trend of rising drug costs that they’ve had to shoulder year after year. Aradigm’s launch today is a game-changer in balancing cost, innovation and access. We’re excited to work with William Shrank, Spencer Carrucciu, Justus Ruff, Alec Kingston and the entire Aradigm team as they welcome their first employer and payer customers and scale their model nationwide. Also look forward to supporting Aradigm alongside Frist Cressey Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz. At the J.P Morgan Healthcare Conference next month, pharmacy will be a central focus. If you’ll be in San Francisco, don’t miss Morgan Health’s panel discussion with leaders including William Shrank and Evan Cohen on how employers can make pharmacy coverage work. https://lnkd.in/e8a829kEExclusive: Aradigm, which wants to make insurance for cell and gene therapies more sustainable, raises $20MExclusive: Aradigm, which wants to make insurance for cell and gene therapies more sustainable, raises $20M

Gina DeCandia liked thisGina DeCandia liked thisHalf of employer sponsored healthcare comes from small and medium sized businesses. The latest report from JPMorganChase, Powering 10 Million Small Businesses, outlines an agenda to strengthen small business competition, resiliency. For health care, it means moving away from coverage that's expensive and hard to sort through to options focused on affordability, flexibility. Small businesses cannot sustain 10-20% premium increases year after year. That’s a big reason JPMorganChase is doing this work. And it’s why Morgan Health is backing new approaches - what's out there today isn't working. Glad to see it said this plainly, and with clear opportunities for policy improvement. With thanks to our team supporting this work: Michelle Basta, Sarah Richardson, Caroline Williams, Gina DeCandia, and partnership from Stevie Baron and the Chase for Business team. https://lnkd.in/eY2pRgzz

Gina DeCandia liked thisThis is super thoughtful, and great Rick Abramson, MD, MHCDS, FACR that you are soliciting feedback before moving to regulations. The field is moving so fast, and we need to make sure it can continue to do so while also thinking carefully about how AI fits into the regulatory paradigm. From the perspective of advocating for better employer sponsored healthcare, we see AI as one of the only ways that better quality and lower costs can be achieved simultaneously over the coming years, so particularly appreciate this approach. And appreciative that you are tackling this! Robin Shah, Susan Conover, Todd Park, Prabhjot Singh, MD PhD ready to help.Gina DeCandia liked thisFDA has released its discussion paper on considerations for generative AI-enabled medical devices. https://lnkd.in/gpRkSM4i Why a discussion paper and not a formal policy statement? Because while FDA recognizes both the extraordinary pace of clinical AI and the need for regulatory clarity, we also recognize the complexity of the issues and their profound implications for the future of health care. FDA intends to lead boldly, but with transparency and genuine intellectual humility. With this paper, we are putting our ideas into the public square and inviting challenge and input from the broader ecosystem so that we can refine these concepts before translating them into policy. The guidance we ultimately develop will be stronger for our having done so. In this spirit, the paper offers ideas and questions across several areas that could inform a future regulatory approach for this new generation of medical devices. We touch on: 👉 Risk assessment, describing a possible two-axis heuristic considering both the activity performed by a device and the consequences of relying on an incorrect output, 👉 Competency-based evaluation, an approach inspired at a high level by how clinicians are evaluated, combining device benchmarking with confirmation of performance under clinically representative conditions, 👉 Elements of device competency, including safety-critical behavior, clinical proficiency, communication, robustness and generalizability, and capabilities specific to agentic AI, 👉 Risk-proportionate evidence, considering how the nature and rigor of evaluation might scale with a device's intended use and risk profile, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, 👉 Lifecycle oversight, exploring risk-proportionate postmarket monitoring, re-benchmarking, and evaluation of devices as they change over time, and 👉 Foundation models and agentic AI, confronting emerging questions arising from third-party foundation models, model updates outside a device manufacturer's direct control, autonomous multi-step actions, tool use, and increasingly agentic systems. Our objective is a forward-thinking regulatory framework that is scientifically rigorous, risk-proportionate, least burdensome, adaptable as the technology evolves, and consistently guided by patient and consumer health as our ultimate true north. But we will need the broader community to help us get there. We invite patients, consumers, developers, clinicians, researchers, health systems, regulators, professional societies, standards organizations, and others across the AI and health care ecosystems to read the paper, challenge our thinking, tell us what we have right and what we have wrong, and help us identify what we have missed. We want and need an active dialogue. Please submit your comments to FDA Docket FDA-2026-N-7874 at the above link during the 60-day public comment period. We look forward to the conversation.

Comms strategies have changed wildly since 2011 (woof), but performance skills live forever. I use tools from my theater background every single day. I wouldn't be where I am today without the ability to riff with a colleague in a meeting, to project confidence over nerves, to learn information quickly, synthesize, and repeat it back as my own, and to infuse my daily work with a sense of whimsy! Gina DeCandia liked thisGina DeCandia liked thisI had a blast re-connecting with Mitchell Moore, since we both made some moves. He recently started Actually Good Marketing with his fresh take front and center: he's a founder who also loves to get his hands dirty, understanding the ins and outs of campaigns and why they are/aren't succeeding and insisting on joining every client call. I first met Mitch at Financial Communications Society's Race for Kids in Stowe. He was on a panel with his client, but the partnership was so strong that it was hard to separate client from agency - they were one team. If you’re looking for support across Search, SEO, Paid Social, and more, I can’t recommend Mitchell and the team at AGM enough. They have a great track record of improving the KPIs that actually matter while making life easier for their clients and teams.

Last week, the SchroderHaus team brought to life a hands-on experience for media and influencers in New York City 🍎 on behalf of Applegate and other back-to-school go-to’s including: Bob's Red Mill, Primal Kitchen, Horizon Family Brands, Crofter's Organic and izzio artisan bakery. #DYK that when children prep a meal themselves, they consume up to 76% more salad and veggies, and more than 25% more chicken compared to identical meals made by adults? Cooking increases children's feelings of pride, positive emotion, and personal control over their food choices. Recognizing these insights, we partnered up with the incredible Frances Largeman-Roth to invite media and influencers ALONG with their kiddos, nieces and nephews to Taste Buds Kitchen for an evening of cooking, connection and approachable inspiration. The event highlighted simple, family-friendly recipes and go-to tips that make the back-to-school season a little more delicious, nutritious and sustainable. Here’s a quick snapshot of some of the results: 👩👦 22 media and influencer guests and 18 kids attended the event 📚 Outlets represented by our guests included TODAY, Good Morning America, Prevention, EatingWell, Real Simple and Eat This, Not That ✏ 63% of attendees have already shared about the experience across social channels, including via both Instagram Stories and in-feed posts, tagging Applegate and brand partners alike 🎒 A total potential reach of more than 605k generated to date via event social shares tagging the participating brands A huge thank you to our wonderful brand partners for helping make the experience such a success, as well as the team at FOOD ALLERGY RESEARCH EDUCATION, INC. DBA FARE for sharing your back-to-school tips. Collaborative partnerships like these help to create more meaningful experiences for attendees and tap into like-minded audiences, expanding reach five-fold. One of my favorite moments of the evening? Taking a silly class picture-style photo with our fabulous clients and Frances. Thanks for capturing the magic of the evening 📸 Guy Ambrosino.

That's why I'm especially proud of JPMorganChase's announcement today of our intention to deploy more than $750 billion through 2035 through the American Dream Initiative, helping expand housing supply and support homeownership across the United States. In Home Lending, we see every day what a home can mean for a family. It's where memories are made, roots are planted and futures are built. And while there isn't a single solution to addressing housing affordability, we believe creating access to sustainable homeownership and increasing housing supply are important steps forward. What excites me most about this commitment is that it's focused on practical, long-term solutions: from financing the creation and preservation of affordable housing to providing education, guidance and support that can help more people navigate the path to homeownership with confidence. I'm grateful to the thousands of Chase Home Lending employees whose dedication and expertise help customers make one of the most important decisions of their lives. Their work makes a difference every day. The challenges facing housing today are significant, but so is the opportunity to work together on solutions that can strengthen families, communities and the American Dream for generations to come. This work reinforces something many corporate affairs leaders are experiencing firsthand: permission to act has become one of leadership's most valuable assets. What the findings of our global License to Lead survey revealed is that leaders aren't lacking strategy. They're failing to bring stakeholders along. And that failure often stems from a deficit in the very qualities that matter most: authenticity, consistency, and moral clarity. The consequences go well beyond an abstract benchmark on reputation. Corporate credibility has become highly fragile—fragile precisely because stakeholders are hungry for leaders who lead with both competence and character. License to Lead brings data and clarity to that reality, and offers a practical lens on how trust, alignment, and communication shape whether leaders can move forward during uncertainty. It's a reminder that quality of leadership is as much about what you do as what you say. Proud of the collaboration and the team that brought this to life. Like lots of my comms friends, I too read Katie Deighton's very interesting story on corporate storytellers in today's The Wall Street Journal. I am all for going direct and telling your own story in a controlled way through your own channels. But I think companies overlook the "earned" media channel at their own peril. There is still an incredible power to independent third-party validation. It's difficult to quantify, which has made it just a bit passé in today's age of analytics and KPIs and OKRs. But as a simplified example, I think about all the holiday shopping I've done: I might learn about a product I'd never heard of before via an Instagram ad or the company's website (owned), but if I go look up that product and it has lousy reviews (earned), I'm not buying. Now scale that up to a complex B2B sales process like a private fund vehicle, where everyone's got a book to sell and there are so many more validation checkpoints along the way. Owned alone is not enough. There is trust in independence. I also think it is short-sighted to only want to tell your own story. The most relevant companies are not only telling their own stories, but are participating in broader dialogues that span their sector, industry, or the whole economy. To be relevant beyond your owned channels, you need to be a point on the map (big or small), and you need to connect yourself to the broader web of your customers'/clients'/stakeholders' understanding. Otherwise your "story" is going to be self-serving babble. My 2 cents -- please read for yourself! https://lnkd.in/eG9NQGfx
