Jeff Wiley shared thisMedical care costs are an important part of retirement planning. Even with Medicare, out-of-pocket expenses can add up over time. As people age, healthcare needs often become more frequent and less predictable, which can create ongoing financial pressure. Planning for these costs can help you feel more prepared for the years ahead. Let’s talk about how healthcare expenses fit into your overall retirement strategy.

But the full picture is more complicated than “it’s running out.” This piece from Yahoo Finance breaks down what’s actually happening and what it could mean for your retirement: https://yhoo.it/45xzqp2 If it gets you thinking about your own situation, I’d love to connect about financial strategies to help you meet your retirement goals.

Jeff Wiley shared thisWork doesn't always seem like work when you have an awesome partner Nilesh Sanghavi and work for an amazing company New York Life!Jeff Wiley shared thisCongratulations to Jeffrey Wiley on a well-deserved recognition. What stands out about Jeff isn’t any single moment — it’s how he works. He listens before he advises. He explains things clearly instead of impressively. And he follows through on the small things nobody else sees. Clients notice that. So does the rest of the team. Proud to work alongside him at our New Jersey General Office. #Congratulations #FinancialProfessional #ClientFirst #TeamRecognition #NewJersey #Leadership

Jeff Wiley liked thisJeff Wiley liked thisA crisis avoided. It’s always something new and unexpected. Pulling into the slip Sunday an alarm went off I never heard before. After eliminating all known alarms I stuck my head in the engine room and saw red and yellow lights blinking on the rear thruster. Called the divers and they pulled a ton of kelp from the thruster. I could have dove in with my scuba tanks. But instead I called in the experts! Same thing with life insurance. Would you recognize the alarms? We would. 50+ years managing life sales and maintenance of life policies.

Jeff Wiley liked thisJeff Wiley liked thisLeadership lesson of the day: Imagine Erling Haaland stepping off a plane in Norway... not carrying a Ballon d'Or, not a trophy, but a $750 taxidermy raccoon he picked up at Wild Bill's Western Store in Texas. Customs Officer: "Anything to declare?" Haaland: "Just this raccoon. It spoke to me." Some people come back from Texas with cowboy boots. Some bring a hat. Elite performers apparently invest in... premium woodland décor. The real takeaway? Confidence is doing whatever you want and making everyone else wonder if they're the ones missing the strategy. #Leadership #Branding #Texas #Norway #Football #Networking #OnlyInTexas

Jeff Wiley liked thisJeff Wiley liked thisAlthough he was being sacarstic - I caught a stray from a friend saying, “you just want to make your little posts on LinkedIn and be an influencer”. I was caught off guard by the comment because this is obviously not my intention. For anyone reading this post- this is why I post on LinkedIn. I can attribute close to $7M in new business by interactions on this platform since Elite Turf Supply turf supply started. Almost every post I make I’ll get a few DM’s from people wanting turf. I’ve found building a brand is easier to build here than anywhere else. If you’re on the fence about posting content my advice would be to drop the fear and start telling stories!

Jeff Wiley liked thisJeff Wiley liked thisToday was my sons’ last first day of football camp. It struck me that so much of life is spent celebrating firsts. First job. First promotion. First home. First day of school. First game. Then, almost without realizing it, you enter a season of lasts. As my boys begin their senior year, today marks the first of many lasts they’ll experience before heading off to college. What’s been most meaningful to watch isn’t my own emotion, but theirs. They know this chapter is coming to an end, and they’re intentionally taking it in. They’re appreciating one more season wearing the Malvern jersey. One more year with teammates who have become brothers. One more opportunity to be part of something bigger than themselves. It reminded me that this isn’t just true in high school. It’s true throughout our lives and careers. Every transition asks us to honor what has shaped us while having the courage to embrace what’s next. Maybe that’s the gift of the lasts. They remind us to be present. To appreciate the people, the experiences, and the communities that helped us become who we are before we begin again. Here’s to recognizing the lasts, embracing the firsts, and never taking either for granted. #Leadership #Growth #Transitions #Gratitude #MalvernPrep #LLKT
