Grateful to Roshan Mendis and Kurt Ekert for bringing me into the business, and to Gail Mandel for the Board support for our investment asks. Extremely pleased with the momentum we’ve built across the Lodging, Ground & Media/Data (LGM) vertical. The business is in a strong position, with Q2 delivering record hotel attach rates and lodging-related revenue growing at 11% YOY. LGM remains a key strategic priority for Sabre, and I’m happy to pass on the torch to Derek Sharp, who brings decades of global travel industry leadership from companies like Travelport and CWT. Most of all, I’m incredibly proud of the LGM team and what we’ve accomplished together over the past few years. Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey! My next chapter starts with some consulting and board advisory work, followed by another adventure that I hope to share soon. Until then, I’ll be cheering on the team as the next chapter unfolds...

Jimmy Suh liked thisJimmy Suh liked thisAfter a productive week travelling across Australasia, I've returned home reminded of what makes the hospitality industry so special: great people, strong partnerships and a real connection to place. The trip gave me the chance to visit our four properties in the region, spend time with our teams, catch up with hotel owners and see how our operating destinations there are evolving. Two highlights were seeing the buzz around The James restaurant at The Langham, Sydney and visiting Our Land at Cordis, Auckland, where the focus on local and sustainable sourcing is creating a bar experience that genuinely reflects its surroundings. More than anything, though, I was struck by our people. The care they show guests, the pride they take in their work and their drive to keep improving are what set our hotels apart. Hospitality is always a team effort. It comes from great partnerships, empowered colleagues and a willingness to keep learning from one another. Thank you to everyone who welcomed me along the way.
