I’m so glad I had the chance to attend the ribbon cutting for the new Agricultural Sciences Complex at CWI’s Nampa Campus yesterday. Standing there, I couldn’t help but think about the impact this space will have not just for students but for the future of agriculture in our community. It’s exciting to see a place built for hands-on learning, innovation, and growth right here in the Treasure Valley. I left feeling hopeful and proud of what this means for the next generation.

Boise Hunter Homes has an established foundation in land acquisition, entitlement, development and construction, and I’ll be leading the company’s expansion into commercial real estate. We’re starting with three projects: ∙ Dry Creek Ranch, Eagle: up to 16 acres, with potential for a grocery anchor, mid-box and boutique retail, restaurants and drive-through pads ∙ McDermott Village, Meridian: up to 10 acres for service retail, convenience and storage/warehouse ∙ Ancona Business Park, Eagle: 1.6 acres of flex warehouse space I’m grateful to my colleagues at Cushman & Wakefield and to the clients, brokers and industry partners I’ve had the opportunity to work with over the years. Podium construction (store is elevated above the parking level) brings unique challenges, and this team delivered at every step. Big thank you to our construction, engineering, and design teams for navigating the technical demands, our operations partners for ensuring a seamless transition to opening, and our developer, subcontractors, and trade partners for executing with precision in a tight urban environment. The end result is a modern, high-quality store that will serve this community for years to come—and a project this team should be incredibly proud of.
