2015 International Ball - Festivals Around the World
By students for students , the International Ball has been promoting cross-cultural unity and friendship on Drexel's campus for over seven years. The 2015 committee secured $13000 in funds, planned, and executed a ball and cultural performance showcase for 250 Drexel students. Our committee begins meeting seven months out. Tasks such as coordinating catering , performer recruitment, marketing, graphic design, and operations are divided amongst committee members according to area of interest…
By students for students , the International Ball has been promoting cross-cultural unity and friendship on Drexel's campus for over seven years. The 2015 committee secured $13000 in funds, planned, and executed a ball and cultural performance showcase for 250 Drexel students. Our committee begins meeting seven months out. Tasks such as coordinating catering , performer recruitment, marketing, graphic design, and operations are divided amongst committee members according to area of interest. The final event is a full evening of programming that includes a showcase of six unique student performance groups, a full sit down dinner, and a night of dancing. Most importantly the ball is a free event so students of all socioeconomic backgrounds can attend. It has been a great honor to lead a committee of talented dedicated volunteers.
