I sat down with Tony Morimoto of The Kunkel Company for Importer Insight and got into what’s really driving the grape market—and he didn’t hold back. He’s candid, sharp, and honestly… pretty hilarious. 🎥 Catch this short clip 📺 Full interview drops today at 12 PM CST. Link in the comments. If you want the real inside view of the grape market… don’t miss this one.

Olivia Avellaneda liked thisOlivia Avellaneda liked thisThe BOLD Class 5 spent an inspiring couple of days in Washington, DC filled with learning and meaningful conversations. During their visit, the group heard from several USDA staff members and gained valuable insight into the work happening behind the scenes to support U.S. agriculture. They also visited the USDA museum, highlighting the department’s history and impact on the industry. The trip also included a visit to the United States Capitol, where the group had the opportunity to meet with Julia Brownley, who represents California’s 26th District, covering most of Ventura County and a portion of Los Angeles County. Experiences like this give emerging leaders valuable insight into the broader agricultural landscape and provide a meaningful opportunity to learn, grow, and help shape the future of the avocado industry. The women on our team consistently raise the bar across all three. They challenge thinking, drive results, and make our culture stronger. I’m proud to work at Databricks, where investing in and elevating women in leadership isn’t just something we talk about - it’s something we actively build. To the women on our teams and across the industry: thank you for the impact you make every day. 😃

Olivia Avellaneda liked thisOlivia Avellaneda liked thisThis week, TIPA President & CEO Dante Galeazzi joined CNN to discuss the growing challenges facing U.S. farmers as immigration crackdowns intensify. In the interview, Dante highlighted how these enforcement actions are exacerbating an already critical farm labor shortage, impacting growers’ ability to harvest crops and keep fresh produce flowing to consumers. “Labor is one of the biggest challenges for agriculture,” Dante explained, noting that without a stable and reliable workforce, farmers risk losing entire harvests. He also emphasized the need for thoughtful policy solutions that protect our nation’s food supply while supporting the agricultural workers who make it possible. TIPA remains committed to advocating for the fresh produce industry in Texas and beyond — ensuring that growers, shippers, and the communities they serve have a voice in critical policy conversations. #TIPA #TexasProduce #FreshProduce #Agriculture #Farmworkers #Immigration #Labor #H2A #Policy

Teleos Ag Solutions™

Our California TELONE™ Specialist, Brian Hegland, is in Modesto for the Blue Diamond Growers Annual Meeting. "Blue Diamond Growers is a unique organization that is both a century-old agricultural cooperative and a global consumer packaged goods (CPG) company. The co-op’s vision is to deliver the benefits of almonds to the world by expanding the markets and innovative uses of our growers’ quality almonds around the globe." Almond growers know that nematodes and Prunus replant disease can stunt an orchard from the start—that's why they trust TELONE™ by Teleos to prep the soil ahead of planting/transplanting rootstock. TELONE™ targets nematodes deep in the root zone, allowing growers to manage nematode populations before young trees are planted. In addition to controlling nematodes, TELONE™ helps mitigate the effects of Prunus replant disease by reducing the pest and disease pressure in the soil, so young almond trees establish stronger roots, promoting vigorous growth and long-term orchard health. Stop by booth #14 with all of your nematode questions. Remember, there's no coming back from a poor start—especially with orchards!
