Priya Jain liked thisPriya Jain liked thisSteve Buscemi, best known as a Hollywood actor, made a remarkable contribution during the 9/11 attacks by returning to his roots as a New York City firefighter. Before his acting career, Buscemi served with FDNY Engine 55 in Manhattan from 1980 to 1984. On September 12, 2001, the day after the attacks, Buscemi quietly showed up at his old firehouse in Little Italy, put on his gear, and worked 12-hour shifts for several days at Ground Zero. He helped dig through the rubble, search for survivors, and recover bodies of fallen firefighters and civilians. He did this without seeking publicity or recognition—most people didn’t even know about it until years later because he never spoke about it publicly. His actions reflected his loyalty to his firefighter brothers and his deep sense of duty during one of America’s darkest days.

The flower grew into a garden, and that garden is now on display in every Pandora store around the world. I’m beyond proud of this immersive Mother’s Day campaign, which was created in collaboration with the talents of many—from store design, creative production, marketing and an animation studio—all of whom I’m incredibly grateful to for their knowledge and guidance throughout the many layers of the project. Priya Jain liked thisPriya Jain liked thisAs some of you know, I’ve been navigating the job market for some time now since Citi underwent a significant reduction in force this year, impacting my organization and team. I want to take a moment to thank my mentors, former colleagues, friends, and family for their incredible support during this journey. To everyone in the same position, I want to say: keep pushing—something will come your way. This job market has been tough, but you are not alone. Since starting my search, I’ve applied to over 900 roles across 50+ companies and networked with countless professionals. I’ve been overqualified, underqualified, and everything in between. While focusing on roles in business strategy, product management, and data analytics, I’ve also explored opportunities outside these areas. Feedback from some recruiters and hiring managers has been encouraging, many mentioning I did very well and would be a great fit for the company. However, I’ve also faced challenges such as a lack of constructive feedback or not hearing back at all, which makes it harder to improve and refine my interview approach. One thing I’ve learned: know your worth. While it’s tempting to take the first offer, waiting for the right opportunity is just as important. I pride myself on my work ethic and determination, and I’ll continue to grind until I find something I am passionate about. To anyone who may be open to connecting or exploring opportunities together, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to share my experience during this time or discuss potential roles. I’m currently seeking Senior Product Management and Business Development/Strategy opportunities in financial services, technology, or other areas where I know my skills can carry over and make a meaningful impact. Priya Jain liked thisPriya Jain liked thisDanielle Fishel shared that she was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer called ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). She said, “It’s like, ‘Wow. Even for cancer that was found at stage 0, my whole life has changed,’ My life has become many doctor’s appointments and constantly checking up. And it’ll be monitoring side effects. It’s not fun, but it is what it is. And with all that said, I’m very fortunate and I’m going to live, which is the most important thing.” She continued, “I remember very early on when I was diagnosed ... someone said to me, ‘I just want you to know, I’m so happy you found your cancer early. But there is no such thing as easy cancer.’” Get those mammograms 👆 #BreastCancerAwareness
