📉 Salesforce Data Cloud 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗟𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗽 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 On April 15, Salesforce updated its Data Services Rate Card—great news when you are bringing Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, or Commerce Cloud data into Data Cloud. 𝗧𝗟;𝗗𝗥: Ingesting data from internal Salesforce sources now costs just ¼ the credits compared to external sources. While many of us (myself included) would love to see internal data ingestion be free or have greater control over full refresh cycles, there is a real cost to ingesting and storing data in cloud infrastructure so I understand the need. https://lnkd.in/ghEWw7AG And let’s be honest—keeping a snapshot before data transformation (for standardization, cleansing, etc.) is a best practice to ensure your data is complete, consistent, correct, contextual, and compliant.
