Kenneth Kelly shared thisPatriot Day | September 11 On this Patriot Day, Strativia joins our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honoring the courage of the first responders and everyday heroes who stepped forward, and recognizing the families and communities whose lives were forever changed. Twenty-five years later, we continue to reflect on not only the profound loss of that day, but also the remarkable courage, compassion, service, and unity demonstrated in its aftermath. May we honor their memory by continuing to embody the values that brought Americans together during one of our nation's most difficult moments. We remember. We honor. We stand together. Kenneth Kelly liked thisKenneth Kelly liked thisThis summer gave me the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally through two experiences I am incredibly grateful for! I spent the summer as a Software Engineering Intern at L3Harris Technologies, where I worked alongside my fellow intern, Miles Foxx, to develop an internal historical Linux performance analysis tool supporting air traffic control systems. We built a Python-based application that transformed raw system performance data into organized, visual insights, helping reduce an analysis process that previously took hours to just minutes. Throughout the project, I significantly strengthened my skills in Python, Git, Jira, Linux, and data visualization. I also gained experience working with a shared codebase, troubleshooting, and validating code. Most importantly, I learned how to contribute to a fast-paced engineering team and take a project from its initial design to a functional final product. Outside of my internship, I also had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy. Immersing myself in a new environment allowed me to experience Italian culture firsthand while becoming more independent and comfortable navigating unfamiliar spaces. I would especially like to thank Ngina McLean, Nakiya White, Claudia Morings, and Sebastian Morana for their outstanding support during my internship. #SoftwareEngineering #ComputerScience #Python #WomenInSTEM #StudyAbroad #SpelmanCollege
