Sus Misra reposted thisSus Misra reposted thisThis has been on my mind lately thanks to my jolly band of friends that actually make things for a living. You know, "Creatives." Writers sitting on unfinished drafts. Designers working from private references. Marketers shaping campaigns before anyone outside the room has seen them. Artists testing ideas that are still too raw, strange or commercially sensitive to put in public. This group is way past whether AI is useful. Now, it is all about trust... ... which makes the privacy model behind the tool just as important as the quality of the output. This is especially true for uncensored AI. The point here is not “no rules.” I do believe that serious platforms still need firm boundaries around consent, minors, impersonation, exploitation, deepfakes and whatever is regionally considered illegal use. The value is in avoiding broad, lazy refusals that block legal creative work simply because the topic is mature or unconventional. A writer developing an adult relationship scene should not be treated the same as someone trying to create harmful content. An artist exploring mature themes should not have to keep negotiating with a tool that cannot read context. The next phase of creative AI will be judged by whether it gives creators room to work while protecting the material they are not ready to share with the world. Creative freedom, privacy and responsibility have to move together. And any platform that gets that balance right will have a serious advantage. Many options are emerging. And while I could never have the time to test them all, it still presently feels underdeveloped. #CreativeAI #GenerativeAI #UncensoredAI #Privacy #AIGovernance #CreatorEconomy #ContentCreation #DataPrivacy

Sus Misra shared thisIn a time of changes it becomes ever more critical to adapt to our audiences' needs and motivators thoughtfully and holistically.Sus Misra shared thisExcited to share my article on challenger brands in Ad Age. Challenger brands don’t fail to scale because demand disappears. They slow down because the model that built early momentum isn’t designed for growth. Scaling is the exception, not the rule: Roughly half of businesses fail within five years, nearly two-thirds within 10, and more than 90% never achieve meaningful scale at all. For Ad Age, I explore this topic through the lens of modern wellness brands – outlining 4 key principles for how to grow without losing the trust and clarity that made your brand so powerful in the first place. Please reach out to me directly if you want to learn more or have a conversation about how Havas' Modern Wellness Practice can support your brand. Havas Media Network Ad Age https://lnkd.in/gwNpnYrh

Sus Misra shared thisFull disclosure: Kent is a friend. That said, the professional headwinds and tailwinds of the AI landscape depicted in this paper are something many of us feel somewhere in the corner of our minds but aren't quite ready to state out loud. And while it is clear that both the implications and courses of action can be fraught, the act of diagnosing and bringing solutions to the table are key to charting a path forward through perhaps the most disruptive technological age of our lifetime.Sus Misra shared thisThe US built the middle class on the bargain that work provided wages and wages secured economic membership. In our latest white paper, Kent Oliver Bhupathi, MEcon and Melissa Carleton argue AI is weakening that bargain without a classic recession headline. Firms can raise output with thinner teams, slower entry-level hiring, and longer job searches. One in four unemployed people have been searching for 6+ months. Recent college graduate unemployment is 9.3%. Meanwhile rent, food, healthcare, and debt payments keep arriving on schedule. From this, Kent and Melissa frame the issue as one of portfolio design and assess each component on both its merits and trade-offs. Check the comments to read the white paper! #AI #LaborMarkets #IncomeDistribution #EconomicSecurity #UBI #JobGuarantee #SovereignWealth #FutureOfWork #HonestEconomist

AI didn’t take 55,000 jobs this year. Leaders chose to give them up. We just finished the biggest year of layoffs since 2020. A total of 1.17 million jobs disappeared, and 55,000 of those were linked to AI. Here’s the uncomfortable truth that often goes unsaid: AI isn’t the real problem. The real issue is corporate indecision. Companies aren’t letting people go because AI does their jobs better. They are cutting jobs and freezing hiring because they want flexibility. This means delaying decisions, avoiding investment, and staying lean while they wait to see what happens. And who ends up paying the price for this hesitation? It’s young talent, entry-level workers, and those who haven’t even had a chance to show what they can do. Here are a few things I can’t ignore: * This isn’t really about automation. It’s about avoidance. Leaders are using AI as an excuse not to hire. * Youth unemployment is rising not because AI is better, but because companies are afraid to take risks. * The idea that AI is taking over finance? Even Fortune calls it “smoke and mirrors.” * We are changing the entry-level of the career ladder right now, but we pretend it’s innovation. If we keep treating early-career roles as optional, in five years we’ll have a talent pipeline full of gaps and a generation that never got the experience they needed. AI didn’t break the system. It just showed how fragile the system already was. What are the Real Intensions of Seniors Managers?? Hire young TALENT!!
