How many times have you opened a document just to check one thing? Copilot AI actions that might change that. So, in SharePoint you can now.... → Summarize without opening → Create an FAQ (great for policies) → Generate an audio overview (yes, really) → Ask questions about the content Select multiple documents? You can compare up to 5 files side-by-side. Week 1 report vs Week 2 report. Differences highlighted. No tabs open. The audio one surprised me. Turn a compliance doc into something people can listen to on the drive in. Look, let me be honest, not every feature will land for every team, but the "compare files" alone is going to save many people not just minutes, but multiples of minutes if that make sense. There's a limit of 5 documents at once, which I guess will generate some backlash but hey.... Good to know if you're planning batch work. Worth exploring if your team lives in document libraries.

Still Day 10 in the Power Platform Learners #PowerApps #AdventCalendar and if you have seen the post by Ambesh you already know what is missing: https://lnkd.in/dHwt6Wih If you are working with different languages in #Dynamics365CE and you have to switch between languages - this can be really time consuming. There is no direct access to the language selector in the main menu. You have to open the Settings in the app, then navigate to Personal Settings and most of the time you can now go and grab a coffee as opening the Personal Settings Popup Windows can take quite some time. ⏲️ Then you can select your new language, confirm and the browser refreshes. And most of the time you have to refresh a 2nd or 3rd time unless all menu items, ribbon and main page are available in the new language. (The shortcut below will help you with the refresh as well) Let me introduce you the #PersonalSetting #LevelUp #Command This will open a small window, where you can directly select the language from a drop down, save and refresh. And yes, you still have to refresh manually afterwards - but try "Ctrl+Shift+R" and for me this "Browser Refresh" works better than "F5" or "Ctrl-F5". You can use this as well with the Personal Settings above. This Command is meant to inspire you, and show what Level Up Commands are capable of and it is not meant to be a production ready solution. The languages I have tested the command with are English (as base language) and German as 2nd language. But it should be possible to use other languages and also more than 2 languages in the drop down. And don't forget - the Overlay Helper from Day 1 must be active for all my commands. 💭 Unpopular opinion (Dynamics 365 CE edition): Plugins are tricky — and often overused. From my experience, I rarely find them the right fit for complex business logic. Instead, I prefer moving that logic into custom code within Processes or Power Automate, where it’s easier to manage, monitor, and maintain. ✅ Keep plugins lightweight — use them mainly for real-time validations or small, performance-sensitive tasks. 🚫 Avoid using them for heavy business logic — it’ll make your system harder to debug and evolve. If you’re managing apps in Microsoft PowerApps, you’ve probably asked: 💭 “Can we change the PowerApps URL to an internal one?” While you can’t change the core PowerApps domain (apps.powerapps.com), there are smart ways to improve accessibility and streamline internal usage: ✅ Internal Redirects Set up a friendly URL like https://apps.company.local/myapp that redirects to your PowerApps app. Easier to remember, quicker to access. ✅ Intranet Embedding Embed PowerApps directly into SharePoint or internal portals—no need to expose long URLs to your users. ✅ Custom Domains via Power Pages Using Power Pages? You can map a custom domain like portal.company.com for a seamless, branded experience. ⸻ 🔐 Security & Licensing Notes: • These methods don’t bypass Microsoft 365 authentication—users will still sign in via Azure AD. • Power Pages with custom domains may require additional licensing. • Internal redirects won’t impact your app’s security, hosting, or performance—just user experience. 📱 Mobile Users? Use deep links or QR codes to make app access just as simple on mobile devices. 🧭 And remember—governance still matters.
