Viviana Faga shared thisOne of my favorite things about Supabase is how directly the team speaks to developers. They do not “market” to their community. They participate in it. That includes publishing more than 40,000 memes that reflect the real frustrations, mistakes, and inside jokes of building software. But the memes are more than entertainment. They are a remarkably fast product-feedback loop. When one resonates, the team immediately learns that the problem it names is real and widely felt. That instinct to meet developers where they are has helped Supabase build a community of more than 10 million developers, while staying close to the people who made its growth possible. This Felicis profile on Supabase cofounders Paul Copplestone and Ant Wilson is a great look at the culture and customer understanding behind the company's rise. 🔗 felicis.link/wEut3am

Viviana Faga shared thisViviana Faga shared thisAI is changing who can build software, and Supabase is the infrastructure beneath that shift. Rather than compete with platforms like Lovable, Bolt, and Vercel, Supabase co-founders Paul Copplestone and Ant Wilson made the astute decision to help power the entire category. As a result, database launches on Supabase grew 600% over the past year, with more than 60% of new databases now started by AI tools. Strategic clarity like that defines enduring companies. Supabase is now indispensable to the AI application ecosystem. We at Felicis have been true believers in Supabase since we led the Series B in 2022. Read the story of how Paul and Ant built Supabase into a $10 billion company while staying true to the developers who got them there: 🔗 felicis.link/rvsh5kW cc: Viviana Faga

Viviana Faga shared thisVery exciting to see DeepJudge and Legora partnering. One thing has been clear from the beginning: the most valuable intelligence in legal doesn’t live in a foundation model. It lives inside the firm, built over decades of precedent, experience, and judgment. This partnership puts that intelligence directly to work in Legora across research, drafting, and review, while the work created there flows back into DeepJudge and compounds what the firm knows. The best partnerships start with customers asking for them. This is one of those. Very fun to see Paulina Grnarova and the DeepJudge team building this with Max Junestrand and the Legora team. cc: James Detweiler Felicis 🚀Viviana Faga shared thisDeepJudge is partnering with Legora. The best partnerships start with customers asking for them. This is one of those. Every legal team has spent decades building expertise no model can replicate: precedent, experience, and judgment that are uniquely theirs. Now, that intelligence can also be put to work directly in Legora across research, drafting, and review, so the firm’s collective experience is behind every decision. And the work created there can flow back into DeepJudge, adding to what the firm knows. Very fun building this with Max Junestrand and the Legora team!

Viviana Faga reposted this💛 Excited to share this one. We're launching Data Outpost, Nov 4–5 in SF, the next evolution of Small Data SF. 💛Viviana Faga reposted thisThe next AI bottleneck isn't the model. It's the data layer the model has to act through, and that's where the hard, unsolved problems live. That's why we're bringing a new conference to San Francisco: Data Outpost, November 4–5. Two days for the people making machine intelligence actually work with data. Agents that need memory. Answers you can actually check. The systems and interfaces replacing the dashboard. It's the next evolution of Small Data SF: still small-format, still builder-led. Real conversations with the people building this stuff, not a view from row 40. Early bird is open now. https://lnkd.in/e6GfEACv

Viviana Faga shared thisBig congrats to Supabase on their $500M Series F at a $10.5B valuation and for building something truly category-defining! Today, Supabase is releasing Multigres v.01 alpha, an open-source scaling layer for Postgres led by the co-creator of Vitess, the technology behind YouTube and Slack's scale. When teams outgrow a single Postgres instance, they're often forced to leave the Postgres ecosystem behind. Multigres changes that. It brings sharding, zero-downtime migrations, and high availability to Postgres, enabling horizontal scale without sacrificing the tooling and developer experience that made Postgres the default choice. This is infrastructure built for the next decade. We at Felicis have been true believers in Supabase since Series B. Watching the team compound relentlessly from a developer tool into the backend for AI apps has been remarkable. Congrats Paul Copplestone, Ant Wilson and the entire Supabase team! 🐘 💚 🧡Viviana Faga shared thisCongratulations to Supabase on raising $500M at a $10.5B valuation! When Felicis first backed Supabase at Series B, the company had one of the strongest developer growth curves we'd seen; it's was one of the fastest growing on GitHub. The thesis was that open source, Postgres-native tooling would become foundational infrastructure. That thesis has played out faster than anyone expected. -Nearly 10 million developers build on Supabase today, more than doubling since their last fundraising announcement eight months ago. -Growth is accelerating since January as Claude Code and Codex expand the number of people who can build. -Database launches on Supabase have grown 600%. -And now: More than 60% of new databases are launched by some sort of AI tool. Supabase has become the backend for most of the leading AI app builders, including Bolt, Figma Make, Vercel's v0. Paul Copplestone, Ant Wilson, and the Supabase team have built a generational company; proud to have been true believers in Supabase since 2022. 🐘 💚 🧡

Viviana Faga shared thisWhen Dan Wright and Jon Runyan walked us through their vision for Armada in 2023, the thesis was simple but audacious: the world's most critical decisions on ships, oil rigs, remote infrastructure couldn't wait for the cloud. AI needed to be where the data was. We at Felicis were all in on this vision and proudly invested in the series A. What's happened since has exceeded even our most optimistic scenarios. Armada just announced their Series B, and the story of their growth is so impressive: -540% customer bookings growth FY25–26. Q1 FY27 alone: 2000% growth vs. Q1 FY26. -The U.S. Navy deployed Armada's Galleon aboard the USS Cooperstown during UNITAS — the largest multinational maritime exercise, running mission applications where centralized cloud simply doesn't reach. -A non-U.S. military customer went live within 6 days. -Johnson Controls partnership to open a dedicated manufacturing facility in Arizona. -WinDC scaling to a 10MW+ Leviathan deployment. Aker BP deploying on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Alaska DOT cutting processing latency from 28 hours to ~4 hours. Because of Armada, distributed AI infrastructure can work in the field. So proud to be on this journey with this team. 🚀

Viviana Faga shared thisAnalytics done the old way is event-based — and event-based is completely backwards. Instrument the app. Pipe the data somewhere. Stand up a warehouse. Hire someone to make sense of it all. By the time the dashboard ships, the question has already changed. The answer, meanwhile, was sitting in the database the entire time. Today Felicis led Dreambase.ai's seed. Andy Keil and Kyle Ledbetter have built the exact inversion of the last twenty years of the category — AI-native analytics that connects directly to your Supabase project and returns a real dashboard in seconds. No tracking libraries. No ETL. No warehouse. Just the database, a semantic layer, and an Analyst Agent tuned for Postgres. Two founders who know this problem inside and out, a product landing at exactly the right moment, and a once-in-a-generation platform tailwind in Supabase's 7M+ developer ecosystem. That is why we were excited to lead the seed round. More on our investment in Dreambase: ordnl.link/1dmuS2L

Viviana Faga shared thisCoaching helped me navigate some of the highest-stakes moments of my career. As a CMO, I had access to the kind of structured, ongoing coaching that the people reporting to me did not. That coaching gap was never a talent problem. It was an access problem. And it has been getting wider for thirty years. Silvia Oviedo Lopez and Siddhartha Dabral built Blomma to close that gap — a private AI career coach for anyone who wants one, live today. We at Felicis are honored to lead their Seed. Read why: ordnl.link/oxdyISQ

Viviana Faga liked thisViviana Faga liked thisSince the beginning of our company, we have advocated for customers to own, not rent their AI. Above everything, that’s what makes it sovereign. Now with Palantir Technologies and NVIDIA we’ve created a stack that enables sovereign AI with unprecedented speed, scale and sovereignty. Palantir has named Armada its Inaugural Certified Modular Data Center Partner. Real AI sovereignty isn't just about the model. It's the data and the hardware too, all of it under your control. And if you don’t control it, you’ve handed ownership to someone who does. Many of our defense customers are most concerned with resilience. Recent conflicts have made it clear that fixed infrastructure is a fixed target, like weapons depots. Now these customers can depend on resilience across nodes, enabled by Armada’s Sovereign AI Grid. That Grid has just become even stronger than when we launched it just over a month ago. Palantir's Sovereign AI OS will now run on our Galleons, manufactured in the U.S. and allied nations. The Armada Platform keeps every deployment under the customers control with no reliance on any external cloud, including ours. The Sovereign AI Grid ties it all together so no critical workload depends on a single site. The result is AI thats faster to deploy, more sovereign, and more resilient. Thank you to the Palantir team, and to everyone at Armada who forged this partnership. Viviana Faga liked thisViviana Faga liked thisMy parents hit a significant age this past month, so I took them to dinner. I do this more frequently these days since 1) I moved them closer and 2) we have a lot less time together so I want to relish in what's left. One thing I like to do when we're together is ask them questions. A few weeks ago I asked them a simple question: If you could go back and give your younger self a few pieces of advice, what would you say? Not career advice. Not “10 ways to be more productive. The stuff you only really understand after living for a long time on this planet. Like me, I'm sure this resonates ... and is likely a good reminder of what really matters. 1. Don’t marry the wrong person. You can lose a lot of years being unhappy, and you may miss other people, experiences, and versions of your life along the way. 2. Don’t stay in a job you hate for too long. You can make more money. You can’t get the years back. 3. Take the trip. There will always be a reason not to go. Eventually, what stops you may not be work or money; it may be your health. 4. Stop worrying so much about what other people think. Most people don’t think about you nearly as much as you think they do. 5. Take care of your body before you have to (Truth). Strength, mobility, sleep, food, it all matters more later than you realize when you’re young. 6. Spend more time with the people you love while you can. Someday, you’ll miss the boring, ordinary moments more than you expect. 7. Say the thing. Tell people you love them. Apologize. Have the hard conversation. Don’t carry things for years that could have been said in five minutes. 8. Don’t keep waiting for life to start. After the promotion. After the kids get older. After you retire. A huge part of life is happening while you’re waiting for the “right time.” #lifelessons

And yet, I can no longer use Opus 5.5 due to your imposed safety guardrails. As a paying enterprise customer, I submitted an application to the Life Sciences Verification Program on September 17th, answered your follow-up questions on September 22nd, and have not been verified as of October 1st. There's been no follow-ups despite my inquiries to the same. When will you approve our application for Life Science verification? Viviana Faga liked thisViviana Faga liked thisFor those who missed our AI Summit (https://lnkd.in/gMfzYycz) yesterday, sharing are a few of the exciting announcements we made: ➡️ Runway Ads is our new autonomous ad agent that runs and optimizes the creative side of performance marketing, end to end. Runway Ads connects to an ad account and brand kit, generates creative, publishes approved variants to Meta, Google, TikTok and Snap, then reads back performance and regenerates based on what worked. -We’ve been using it ourselves internally for the last several weeks, which allowed us to scale ad volume 1,000% while doubling our return on ad spend, increase conversion by 34%, bring our cost per sub down 41%, and significantly catalyze an additional $100M in ARR to the business. -We’re excited to launch Runway Ads with Lovable as one of our design partners and are rolling Ads out to select enterprises and partners over the coming weeks. 🤖 Praxis-1 is our first open-weight world action model that turns Runway’s video pretraining into control for real robots. It’s built on the same large-scale video pretraining behind our general world models; unsurprisingly, and as we’ve theorized for some time, you can get predictably better robotics policy performance by scaling third-person video. Praxis-1 is our first proven bet that world action models will in fact perform better not just trained on egocentric and robotics data. -We’re actively deploying Praxis-1 with early partners across a variety of embodiments including Noble Machines, Standard Bots, and Ultra. -The public open-weight release will be announced in the coming weeks. ☀️ A few weeks ago, we introduced Solaris, the first Interface World Model. Solaris doesn’t write code. It generates the interface itself, frame by frame, in real time, in response to what you’re trying to do. We shared our vision for a future where all software is generated today at the Summit, and we’re excited to launch it more widely in the coming weeks. ♾️ We previewed Continuum, a new research project exploring how an operating system can be built around real-time video interfaces. We will share more about this in the coming day(s).

Viviana Faga liked thisViviana Faga liked thisSupabase began as an open-source alternative to Firebase. Its ambition now is much larger: to become the world’s most successful database company and store all the world’s data. That vision requires solving one of Postgres’s biggest challenges: operating reliably at enormous scale. Through Multigres, Supabase is building an open-source scaling layer designed to bring high availability, operational simplicity, and eventually Vitess-grade horizontal scaling to Postgres. It is a characteristically ambitious next chapter from Paul Copplestone, Ant Wilson, and the Supabase team. They are pairing one of the world’s largest developer communities with deep, long-term technical differentiation. We at Felicis have been true believers since we led Supabase’s Series B in 2022 and are proud to continue supporting the team as they build toward a future where there is no size Postgres cannot reach. Viviana Faga liked thisViviana Faga liked thisMidtown. On a Thursday night. During UNGA week. Ask any New Yorker and they'd tell you half the guest list would stay home. Instead, we filled the room and then some. Philanthropists met athletes, founders met investors, and a few guests who flew in for the week met just about everyone. After days of big conversations on big problems, the whole night felt like a deep breath. We were grateful to close the evening with a private performance from Vinny DePonto, mentalist and Drama Desk nominee. For a crowd that usually does the reading, it was something else to watch him read us. Thank you to everyone who made the trek to join us at our NYC After Hours. Every fall, this community brings a little more connection than the last, and we can't wait for the next one!!

Viviana Faga liked thisViviana Faga liked thisEight years ago, when Alejandro, Anastasis and I started Runway, I bought three pens, one for each of us. They’re made of heavy steel with a cover that fits perfectly, and one word is engraved at the end: tenacity. Mine still sits on my desk at home, where I work many nights and weekends. Lately, what we’ve spent years building seems to be moving together more naturally. Customers who once asked us to prove it now just ask for it. The problems that kept me up at night last year are forgotten. It will get hard again, the way it always does, which is probably why I bought the pens in the first place. Someone asked me this week if the pen on my desk was the same one from eight years ago. A few refills in, I told them, but yes.

The latest episode is live, and this one is fantastic. I sat down with Eric Gilpin, President, GTM of G2, a leader who’s spent over two decades scaling teams, navigating change, and driving growth in some of the most competitive technology markets in the world. What makes Eric stand out is how he thinks about people, performance, and presence. In this conversation we went beyond tactics and hit on: Being strong at work without losing your presence at home Work demands a lot. But the cost of absence, in relationships, in moments, in memory, isn’t on any spreadsheet. Why alignment with your spouse matters more than “balance” It’s not a 50/50 scorecard, it’s shared intention and honesty about what really matters. What “being present” requires, not just physically there, but mentally and emotionally engaged, even when everything else claws for your attention. The real talk on AI Will AI replace us? Maybe parts of what we do. But the parts of leadership no model can replicate are exactly what matter most going forward. Listening to understand, not to respond That might be the most underrated leadership skill in the age of speed. This episode is about the humanity beneath the headlines and what leaders need to actually thrive in the chaos of work, tech, and life. If you’re thinking about the future of work, AI, or how to show up better in the places that matter most, give this one a listen. 🎧 Youtube: https://lnkd.in/e4nrDEAu

This is a major milestone for Paren — and I’m immensely proud to share that we’ve officially released our Real-Time API with astonishing performance 🚀 For years, the EV charging industry has suffered from disjointed and unreliable data. Data aggregators helped bridge Charge Point Operator feeds, but without true processing or enrichment, the results often led to misleading insights. And while driver reviews are valuable, they quickly become outdated and can’t reflect real-time reliability or performance at the port level. That’s why Bill Ferro and I founded Paren last year: to build a platform that doesn’t just aggregate — it processes and standardizes every fast-charging session into rich, reliable insights. Today, our team delivered on that vision 🎉. Paren’s Real-Time API now processes 100M+ daily events across 13M monthly charging sessions, covering over 65K ports across the U.S. and Canada. Partners can now access: ⚡ Live availability and predicted utilization, per hour & day 🔋 Live reliability scores at the port level 💵 Real-time pricing, per hour & per kWh 🏪 Nearby amenities with walking distance & opening hours I’m deeply grateful to our team and our partners who helped make this happen — and who continue to elevate what’s possible for EV charging performance. Seth Levine nailed it! The concentration problem isn't just a GP pain point... it's choking innovation. When capital pools around the same 20 funds, emerging managers and founders get shut out. Love that he's using his platform to call this out. Foundry has backed 50+ emerging managers. That's the diversification the ecosystem needs. This is exactly why Carta exists — making capital allocation visible and accessible. Capital Evolution hits at exactly the right moment. Thanks for having us Daniel Dart. Team Carta loves the community of FUTURE TITANS you have built 🚀
