Location: Pflugerville, Texas

We, EOS - world market leader for industrial 3D printing, are looking for a Business Operations Intern to join our team this summer! The candidate will be a part of the Business Process and Analytics Team and will be participating in analyzing business processes, generating reports, and contributing to strategic decision-making initiatives. During the tenure at EOS, the candidate will have a chance to learn about supply chain, business operations, service processes using ERP systems that support the Additive Manufacturing industry.

Your Mission

• Aid in root-cause analysis and creation of process charts and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Operations teams

• Assist the business analytics team with process improvement initiatives

• Gain an understanding of cross-department tasks and help develop automated processes to reduce repetitive procedures.

• Interact with business stakeholders to translate complex analytics into simple, actionable business insights and recommendations to implement continuous process improvement

• Work with technical stakeholders to support the implementation/deployment of systemic solutions or changes to existing solutions

• Collaborate with colleagues from various departments to gather input, share insights, and implement process improvements

• Support ad hoc projects and tasks assigned by supervisors to contribute to the overall success of the organization

Your Talents

• Must be currently seeking a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in the field of industrial engineering, supply chain management or similar

• Experience in process designing tools like Microsoft Visio, BPMN and/or Signavio

• Experience or strong understanding of ERP systems like SAP or similar

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word) at an intermediate level

• Self-starter with ability to work on complex or undefined problems and quickly identify and address critical issues

• Must be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, collaborative team environment focused on streamlining processes

• Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
