Base pay range

$225,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the Finance, Accounting, and HR functions for North American operations. This executive will play a critical role in shaping the company's financial strategy, working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations to drive performance and profitability. Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating closely with the Global CFO and the Board, this position is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial functions for North America, including accounting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, P&L oversight, and financial reporting.
  • Partner with commercial leaders (sales and marketing) to support growth initiatives and data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting packages and dashboards to provide business insights and strategic recommendations to leadership and the board.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of 10–15 professionals across finance, accounting, and HR.
  • Lead and enhance the HR function, ensuring alignment with business goals and talent development.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Manage internal controls, risk management, and audit processes.
  • Support M&A due diligence and integration efforts as the company explores growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Global CFO and other international stakeholders on global finance initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred.
  • 10–20 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, ideally within distribution or construction sectors.
  • Prior experience as a Controller, Director of Finance, VP of Finance, or CFO in a middle-market organization.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong background in both accounting operations and strategic financial planning.
  • Experience supporting sales and marketing teams with data-driven insights and forecasting.
  • High level of integrity, initiative, and the ambition to grow into broader executive responsibilities.
