Position: Client Partner - BFSI

Location: New Jersey / New York / Charlotte, NC


About the position

The Client Partner will be responsible for owning, nurturing, and growing strategic relationships within the Banking & Financial Services (BFS) sector. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong understanding of digital transformation, IT services, cloud, data, and consulting-led solutions for BFS clients. The ideal candidate will be experienced in navigating complex enterprise environments and driving multi‑year, high-value engagements.


What you will do –


Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary executive-level relationship owner for strategic BFS clients.
  • Build trusted advisor status by understanding business priorities, regulatory landscape, and industry-specific challenges.
  • Conduct regular cadence meetings, business reviews, and joint planning sessions with CXO/VP-level stakeholders.

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute account growth strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and profitability targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and close opportunities in areas such as digital engineering, cloud modernization, AI/ML, data & analytics, cybersecurity, and managed services.
  • Drive large deal pursuits with cross-functional teams including delivery, solution architects, and practice leaders.

Account Strategy & Planning

  • Develop multi-year account plans and account penetration strategies for BFS clients.
  • Map customer organizations, understand buying centers, and expand wallet share across business units.
  • Track industry trends (payments, lending, core banking modernization, risk & compliance, etc.) to identify new opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with service lines, CoEs, marketing, and pre-sales teams to shape differentiated value propositions.
  • Support thought leadership initiatives, client workshops, industry forums, and solution demonstrations.


What you will bring –


Professional Background

  • 15+ years of experience in IT Services, Consulting, or Digital Engineering.
  • Proven experience managing and expanding large enterprise accounts in the Banking & Financial Services industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of selling and growing multi-million-dollar portfolios.


Industry Expertise

  • Deep understanding of BFS domains such as:
  • Retail & Commercial Banking
  • Lending & Mortgage
  • Payments & Cards
  • Wealth Management
  • Capital Markets
  • Risk, Regulatory & Compliance


Technical & Domain Knowledge

  • Familiarity with digital transformation solutions:
  • Cloud & Infrastructure Services
  • Core Banking Modernization
  • Data, Analytics & AI
  • API-led transformation
  • Digital channels & customer experience
  • Strong understanding of BFS regulatory standards and compliance frameworks.
