Conflicts Analyst

A leading international law firm is looking for a Conflicts Analyst to join its Risk & Compliance team in New York.

The ideal candidate for the role will have conflicts experience within a law firm environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Conflicts Analyst role:

• Conduct comprehensive conflicts checks for prospective and existing clients, matters, and engagements in accordance with firm policies.
• Review and analyse partner, associate, and client relationships to identify potential conflicts of interest.
• Provide guidance and support to attorneys and staff on conflicts-related issues.
• Assist with training and onboarding for new hires on conflicts procedures and compliance expectations.
• Collaborate closely with Risk & Compliance, Legal, and Practice Group teams to resolve complex conflicts situations.

Requirements:

• Experience in a conflicts ideally within a law firm environment.
• Strong understanding of US legal practice management and conflicts compliance procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with conflicts databases and matter management systems is highly desirable.
