We are looking for an Operations Specialist to join our team in Oakland, California on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing operational systems, overseeing facilities and office management, and developing scalable processes to support organizational growth. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring efficient operations and fostering a cohesive work environment.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance organizational efficiency and compliance.
• Manage facilities across multiple locations, ensuring safety, accessibility, and functionality of workspaces.
• Coordinate vendor relationships and oversee procurement of supplies, equipment, and other operational resources.
• Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance, coaching, and establishing clear workflows.
• Organize logistics for staff travel, including international arrangements, and support planning for organizational events.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure vendor contracts, expenses, and procurement align with financial policies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facilities, inventory, and operational activities.
• Monitor and improve day-to-day operations of both physical and virtual workspaces to support staff productivity.
• Ensure shared spaces such as conference rooms and event areas are efficiently managed and utilized.
• Proven experience in operations management, including overseeing facilities and administrative systems.
• Familiarity with call center metrics, consumer lending, and consumer banking processes.
• Knowledge of the credit card industry and criticality analysis.
• Strong ability to plan and execute scalable operational processes.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills for vendor management and team leadership.
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed records and operational documentation.
• Ability to coordinate logistics for travel and events effectively.
