New York City, NY – Project Manager (Construction | Financial Services Client)

Salary: $120,000 - $170,000

We are representing a leading construction consultancy seeking a Senior Project Manager to support a major financial services client on high-profile real estate and capital projects across New York City.

This position will see you embedded on the client side, overseeing the full lifecycle of projects ranging from corporate interiors and refurbishments to complex capital improvements within an active banking environment.

The Role

Acting as the client’s representative, you will take ownership of projects from early planning and design coordination through to construction delivery and closeout. You’ll be responsible for ensuring projects are executed efficiently, aligned with business objectives, and delivered within schedule and budget constraints.

This role requires someone who can operate at both a strategic and hands-on level — managing stakeholders, driving decision-making, and identifying opportunities to improve project outcomes and deliver added value.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading end-to-end project delivery across multiple concurrent assignments
• Managing budgets, contracts, and financial performance throughout the lifecycle
• Coordinating design teams, consultants, and contractors
• Overseeing procurement, bidding, and contract administration processes
• Monitoring project progress, risks, and performance against key milestones
• Facilitating stakeholder meetings and driving clear communication across all parties
• Supporting governance, reporting, and internal client approvals within a corporate environment
• Identifying efficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and value-driven solutions

What We’re Looking For

• Background in construction, project management, or built environment disciplines
• Experience delivering projects within commercial, corporate, or financial services environments
• Strong understanding of construction delivery, contracts, and project controls
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a client-facing role
• Confident leading projects from concept through to completion
• Strong communication skills with a professional, solutions-oriented approach
