A well-established market leader in dental technology, serving a large customer base across practices and group organizations is seeking a Senior Director of Sales. The company’s platform helps dental offices of all sizes run more efficient and predictable operations by modernizing core dental practice workflows and improving business visibility through analytics and reporting.
About the Role
The Senior Director of Inside Sales will lead installed-base revenue growth through disciplined execution, coaching, and KPI-driven management. The focus for the near term is upsell/cross-sell into the existing customer base and provide value added solutions to this base.
This is a hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the CRO and responsible for improving activity, conversion, and forecast predictability. This position’s direct reports include Account Managers, Account Executive as well as frontline managers.
Sr. Director of Sales Responsibilities
Lead and scale an inside sales organization focused on installed-base growth (upsell, cross-sell, migrations and net-new sales)
Build a culture of sales excellence that exceeds its goals and enables career growth opportunities for the team
Must drive high sense of urgency and ownership within the team
Build and run a weekly operating cadence
Drive a high-accountability culture through call coaching, deal coaching, and performance management.
Ensure strong CRM (Salesforce) discipline: pipeline hygiene, stage definitions, next steps, and forecast accuracy.
Partner cross-functionally (Marketing, Customer/Implementation) to improve conversion and migration throughput.
Hire, onboard, and develop talent; upgrade the team as needed to hit aggressive targets.
Sr. Director of Sales Requirements
Dental software or adjacent healthcare SaaS experience preferred
Proven leader of inside sales teams focused on expansion, upgrades, add-ons and net-new sales
Highly metrics-driven operator with a track record of raising activity standards and conversion rates.
Strong people leader that brings consistent coaching cadence and ability to performance-manage and upgrade talent.
Fluent in Salesforce-driven pipeline inspection, reporting, and forecasting.
Experience selling ancillary applications and transitions to new software from within an installed base
