About Summit EPC
- Summit EPC is a privately held design-build EPC firm delivering complex food processing, industrial agriculture, and manufacturing facility construction projects across North America.
- We offer the technical challenge and scale of large projects without the bureaucracy, politics, or burnout common in national corporate construction firms.
- Our teams operate with ownership, trust, and direct access to decision makers. As we grow, we are building long-term leaders, not just filling seats.
About the Role
The Senior Project Manager leads large, complex design-build projects collaboratively with engineering, preconstruction, and field operations while overseeing Jr. project management team members.
This is a true business leadership role. You are responsible for:
- Full project P&L performance
- Client relationships and executive communication
- Schedule and risk management
- Design-build problem-solving and coordination during construction
- Development and mentorship of Project Engineers
You will engage early in project strategy, influence execution plans, and drive disciplined, profitable delivery.
What Makes This Opportunity Different
You will work on large, technically challenging industrial projects within a collaborative, mid-sized firm where:
- Leadership is accessible
- Performance matters more than politics
- Hybrid work flexibility
- Work-life balance is intentional, not theoretical. A sustainable pace of work.
- Large, meaningful projects
- Ownership and accountability for project outcomes
- A clear growth trajectory for your career in a growing firm
Qualifications
- 5-10+ years of progressive construction project management experience
- Proven success leading complex commercial and/or industrial construction projects.
- Industrial, food processing, manufacturing, or agricultural project experience is ideal but not required.
- Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility
- Leadership experience or interest in the development of Jr. team members
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
Opportunity begins with dialogue. If you are hungry for a compelling alternative to traditional big-firm construction careers while maximizing your career growth on large meaningful projects with end user facilities at the heart the American food production system, then let’s have a discussion!
