The Mission
Embed inside a portfolio company and make sure the operating plan gets executed. You turn strategic priorities into plans with owners and deadlines, track whether things are happening, and fix what is not. Over time you grow into someone who designs the plan, not just executes it.
What You'll Do
Own the operating cadence by running standups, KPI reviews, follow-through on commitments, and managing relationships.
Manage data analysis, Key Performance Indicators (ARR, Retention, and Margin), reporting and communications related to product and portfolio performance to senior-level stakeholders.
Take strategic business priorities and turn them into actionable initiatives with clear deliverables and timelines.
Work directly with senior leaders on high-stakes decisions; flag when something is off track and own the follow-through.
Spot operational gaps, create visibility, and proactively resolve challenges.
Build scalable documentation — process maps, decision logs, and operating templates that outlast any single initiative.
What We Are Looking For
Must-haves
2 to 4 years in consulting, IB, BizOps, or a Chief of Staff role at a B2B SaaS company.
Direct accountability for business outcome and experience in leading end to end project deliverability.
Comfortable working across both strategic and operational initiatives.
Ability to influence trust across teams to drive projects.
Nice-to-haves
Experience leading 0 to 1 initiatives at a startup.
Exposure to a PE-backed or high-growth SaaS environment.
Comfortable working in ambiguous business challenges.
Who you are
Your career progressed from a stable role into something with more ambiguity and more ownership. You have set up and managed a well-run operating cadence as a BAU activity. You are early enough in your career that you are still developing your operating instincts, but senior enough to run a room and hold people to commitments. You know the difference between completing a task and solving the problem behind it. You are here because you want to learn how software businesses are actually built and operated.
What We Offer
Competitive annual compensation of $100,000–$300,000, including base salary, bonus opportunity, and equity upside in operating companies
Early exposure to how PE-backed software businesses operate from the inside
A path toward more operating ownership across the portfolio as you grow
