So this brings us to the end of chapter two. Before we move on, I want to share an idea with you that you may find a little uncomfortable or even provocative. Nostalgia can be toxic. It's real tempting to look back and think that life was easier before the pandemic, and I'm not sure that's true, but it doesn't really matter. Leadership looks a lot different since the pandemic and you have some choices. You have to adapt and adopt or you won't have a job as a manager. So it's really important that you hang with me here and stick to a plan where you're obsessed with your own learning and development and also do it for your team. You have to be open to another way, and this isn't even up for discussion. You need to be relentlessly inclusive Now. We've just been through two chapters where we've talked about how to be a manager. People won't leave, and we're going to continue on that theme,. But guess what? We're going to talk about how to have a little fun.
