- Okay, now we're going to turn our attention to machine learning workflow. One of the first steps in the machine learning workflow is data preparation. Now that starts with data collection and often involves gathering data from multiple sources. Now, once we have our data, that's where we're going to start to exercise some of the practices and techniques that we discussed earlier around things like data quality checks and doing things like exploratory data analysis. Now, this is broadly considered the data cleaning process. Now, some of the things we want to do during data cleaning is check for missing values and duplicate records, but we also want to correct for errors. So, for example, if we do have missing data, we may want to impute values for those missing values.
