- So for this lesson, I have navigated to the BigQuery console, and I'm going to just use the Explorer to just display the data sets that we're going to be working with. For this exercise, we're going to work with the retail dataset, and just as a reminder, the retail data set has products, sales transactions, and stores. Now, what we want to do is just basically execute a series of SQL statements that will give us some insight into any potential data quality problems we have with any of the tables. So what I'm going to do is, first of all, I'm going to open a SQL query window, and I do that by just clicking on the plus sign in my workspace. Now, with BigQuery, I have the option of either inserting or writing SQL right here, or I have the option of using Gemini to help me generate SQL. I'm going to focus on writing SQL here, and then in a later lesson later in this course, we're going to go over how to use Gemini to generate SQL right within BigQuery.
