Dara-Maria Mouracade’s Post

After seven incredible years at Bloom EMEA, it’s time for a new chapter. Since 2018, Bloom has been my professional home, where I grew, learned, and helped shape something meaningful alongside some of the most inspiring people I’ve ever met. Being part of building Bloom has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I’m immensely proud of our achievements. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who shaped Bloom, from David Munir Nabti 🌻and Bilal Ghalib, who planted the seeds, to our extraordinary team, partners, trainers, mentors, entrepreneurs, and alumni who helped it flourish. Together, we navigated a political revolution, a banking collapse, COVID-19, the port explosion, and war. And yet, despite it all, we built something remarkable. 🌱 Bloom has supported over 1,000 social enterprises across MENA and Africa, helping individuals and organizations grow, adapt, and create meaningful change. 🌿 We designed programs, built software, and nurtured ecosystems that thrived even in crisis. 🌻 And we did it with heart, resilience, and an unwavering belief in a better future. Beyond the milestones, I carry with me the relationships, the lessons, and a hopeful way of seeing the world, one in which we acknowledge the challenges but still dare to dream and build new possibilities. At Bloom, I learned that to improve things, we must adopt the posture of someone who creates change and acts with intention, courage, and care. That belief is still my compass. I’m continuing that journey with a heart full of gratitude and curiosity as I step into my next chapter at AFAC - The Arab Fund for Arts and Culture to support artistic creativity and cultural expression across the Arab region. ✨ Here’s to new beginnings, continued impact, and the ever-evolving journey.
