We’re excited to welcome Jason Lehmbeck, Founder of Undivided and Director of Thrive Center at Georgetown University, to EmpathyTech Philadelphia 2026. ❤️
Jason is a founder, advisor, investor, and community builder whose work is deeply informed by his own family’s journey through the mental health and disability care system.
His background spans high-growth technology companies, entrepreneurship, angel investing, and years of mentoring founders. Today, through Thrive Innovation at Georgetown University’s Thrive Center, Jason helps catalyze and scale new solutions addressing unmet needs in child and family mental and developmental health.
At EmpathyTech, Jason will moderate a conversation with Rebecca Ralston and Cassandra Ryan of Special Olympics International about what it really takes to build solutions with families and communities, rather than simply for them.
The discussion will draw on the development of the Young Athletes app, exploring how families move across pediatricians, early intervention, schools, and community programs, and why successful solutions often depend on strong partnerships across that entire ecosystem.
Jason will also bring lessons from the many teams working through Thrive Innovation, helping connect the conversation to broader patterns in how organizations can scale impact for children and families.
And his involvement at EmpathyTech goes even further. Jason is also contributing to the work around our Drexel University's Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship EmpathyTech Innovation Challenge, helping connect students, real-world needs, and cross-sector expertise.
We’re excited to have Jason helping us bridge entrepreneurship, lived experience, family support, and innovation in Philadelphia. ❤️
