You don't learn if you don't try. Odin was a pathfinder that gave us more learnings than we would have ever gotten on the ground. - We made contact multiple times. - We learned a lot—many of them lessons you can only learn during flight. - We launched faster and flew farther—for cheaper—than anyone else. Our position error is too high to communicate with Odin. But, in the end, Odin’t. Here's a full mission debrief from Odin as of March 6, 2025: https://lnkd.in/gQY77tP9
Super proud of you and the team
Matt, There are immense valuable lessons learned. You can reach out. Life is journey. Many have been in journey. Enjoy your journey and lessons.
The best lessons are rarely easily learned -- congrats and huge admiration to you and the team for taking it all on 🙇♂️
Fuck it, we ball.
Hope you have enough funding for the second try. Though the failures and achievements of other companies are highlighted and showcased, propagated through social platforms extensively and they get additional funding despite of failures. I think you lack there! It's my observation.
We will make this one count for the upcoming missions.. PUSH FURTHER.
I'm sorry you Odin't, Matt. We all know Space is Hard™️, but it still hurts to be reminded of it. I hope this strengthens your team's resolve to keep pushing forward and apply all you've learnt to the next mission. Delayed success is still success!
Congrats Matthew!
