I have never had a soda. Literally never. I’ve had sips, but I just don’t like it.
And yet, Spindrift Beverage Co, Inc. has a hold on me.
Until recently, I was pretty much a water-only person (aside from coffee and adult beverages). Then I visited family in Philly this summer, where there seemed to be a constant supply of Spindrift on hand. And I was hooked.
As a communications person, I naturally think about how brands earn attention and win over fans. Sometimes the most effective marketing is making sure the product delivers exactly what the marketing says it will.
For Spindrift, that’s whole fresh fruit and lightly carbonated water. The flavors are interesting and actually taste like the fruit they’re supposed to taste like. And for me, cracking one open feels like a little treat.
It quickly won my brand loyalty.
I’ve been buying the 30-pack at Costco Wholesale, but yesterday my supermarket had a buy-three-get-three promotion, so I bought a couple of my favorite flavor and am testing out new ones at about 50 cents each, because I also love a good deal.
All it took to turn me into a brand loyalist was a fridge full of Spindrift and a few days with my family.
Same. Don't drink soda, but my frig is consistently stocked with Spindrift. Can't drink Lacroix anymore because I notice the chemicals now after drinking Spindrift.
The same thing happened to me when I visited my cousin in Ohio. The garage in her fridge was just full of Spindrift Beverage Co, Inc.

I'm a recent Spindrift convert too! My daughter had to detox from sodas and Spindrift was the perfect alternative. We took advantage of that same promotion as well. I like all the flavors but our favorites are lemon, lime, blood orange, and grapefruit. They need to hire you and me to do their PR!
Same! I rarely drink pop and am obsessed with Spindrift. I buy the cases at Costco too and can't wait for the cranberry/ winter flavors to come back. How lucky you got that promotion. I would have a hard time deciding which ones to get!
similar to another commenter, I almost completely quit drinking soda because of spindrift! I drink a lot of sparkling water but spindrift is THE BEST. pineapple, nojito, and the new lemon black tea are my faves :)
I’ve quit drinking soda because of Spindrift! I pray they never sell out and get Ben and Jerry’ed 🙏🏼
Agree I never liked flavored sparkling water and drink a ton of apindrift. This is how you grow a company!!! It tastes better!!!
Spindrift Beverage Co, Inc. is elite in my opinion. I'm going to keep an eye out on these flavors. Can't get enough of them!
