Think being active requires hours in the gym? Think again. Abbott Global Nutritionist Pamela Nisevich Bede shares five tips that can help you easily work more movement into your life. ➡️ Start small and stay consistent. Maybe commit to a 10-minute walk and then add more minutes or distance gradually. ➡️ Fuel before you move with 10 grams of protein, a serving of whole grain carbs or fruit plus 10-20oz of water. ➡️ Find a form of movement that you look forward to, whether it’s pilates or pickleball. It will help make it a lasting habit. ➡️ Celebrate progress, not perfection. Can’t make a 50-minute class but have time for a 15-minute walk. That’s a win. ➡️ Find an accountability partner. A friend, coworker, neighbor, or even a dog can make it easier to consistently show up. #WomensHealthandFitnessDay For full safety information (risks and benefits), visit link in bio.

What you eat and how much exercise you get matters for your glucose and your heart. Here are four ways to help support both: 🍗 Build meals around protein and fiber-rich foods. 🥦 Add color with a variety of non-starchy veggies. 💪 Increase muscle mass through strength training. 😴 Prioritize quality sleep by aiming for 7 – 9 hours a night. #WorldHeartDay Learn more about how glucose levels affect heart health at our link in bio. 🔗 For full safety information (risks and benefits), visit link in bio.

This month’s Q & A with Dmitry covers everything from what inspires him to advice he’d give his younger self. ⬇️ What glucose spike has surprised you the most? “A 30-calorie kombucha caused my biggest spike. More than a big bowl of ice cream. It was very surprising.” What habits have you changed since using Lingo? “My biggest change has been at breakfast time. I really try to get 30 grams of protein in, which helps stabilize my glucose for the rest of my day. I usually rotate eggs, cottage cheese, or yogurt with blueberries.” What advice do you wish your current self could share with your younger self? “Two bags of gummy candy are not a great lunch option.” #AbbottProud For full safety information (risks and benefits), visit link in bio.
