Experience

Phil was a contributor at What Culture and Screen Rant before he joined the Looper team in 2016. He's now a full-time editor at Looper. His first writing gig was with the regional daily newspaper The Chronicle, penning reviews for live music events, theater performances, and stand-up comedy shows across Northeast England. His love of travel led to him going freelance, and he's been lucky enough to work remotely from some incredible locations over the years. After a stint as a reporter at Sports Mole, he found his forever home in entertainment writing.

Education

Phil earned a bachelor's degree in politics and media studies from Northumbria University and then fine-tuned his writing skills with the U.K.'s National Council for the Training of Journalists.
