**All guests must have tickets to the same day’s Rangers game in order to participate in the experience. Game tickets are sold separately and are not included in the price of the experience. 

Be part of history during a VIP Texas Rangers Artifacts Pregame Tour! These exciting new 2-hour pregame experiences will allow guests the opportunity to have a semi-private hands-on interaction with a carefully curated collection of authentic Rangers artifacts from the Rangers Vault, highlighting key moments & players in history, including the 2023 World Series’ run. 

Guests will spend (30) minutes with the artifacts, and will be able to hold, touch, and take photos with them, all while learning each artifacts’ significance to the Texas Rangers. Guests will then take a 60-minute tour of the rest of the ballpark, focusing on Ranger’s history and visiting premium locations throughout the stadium, including the Karbach Sky Porch, John Blake Press Box, Chuck Morgan’s PA Booth, Balcones Speakeasy, and a field-level view behind home plate from the Lexus Club! (Specific tour stops subject to change based on stadium business needs). The experience will conclude with watching Rangers’ batting practice* before gates open to the public. 

In order to provide a world-class guest experience, tours are limited to no more than (10) guests per time slot. 

VIP guests will also receive reserved seating in the front row behind the Rangers’ dugout for batting practice viewing, a Texas Rangers logo baseball, and a 2026 Globe Life Field lapel pin. 

Please Note: This experience must be booked no less than (48) hours in advance. 

*Batting practice is held at the discretion of the Texas Rangers coaching staff, and may be canceled without notice. In the event that Batting Practice does not take place, tour tickets are non-refundable.

This special 2-hour pregame tour experience is led by John Blake, the Historian for the Texas Rangers and former Executive Vice President of Public Affairs, and will take you on a journey through the Ranger’s storied history; special artwork in Globe Life Field; and media areas. With over 45 years of experience in Major League Baseball, John has a unique perspective on the legends of the game, and can give guests insight into Ranger’s history, TV & radio broadcasting, and public affairs surrounding the team.

This experience includes an exclusive private Q&A session with John Blake, and concludes with watching Ranger’s batting practice from the seats behind the home dugout before gates open to the public.

• Rangers Business Park on Stadium Drive & 801 Stadium Drive: Pregame tour parking is available in these lots on Stadium Drive, and is $45.00 + tax, each game day. If you have a parking pass for a different Rangers lot that is not yet open, you may show it at one of these lots and park for no additional charge for your pregame tour. Please be prepared to also show your pregame tour tickets or confirmation email along with your parking pass.

Guests attending Rangers’ 1:35pm home games can experience a special 1-hour pregame tour that will allow guests to get an inside glimpse at game day preparations throughout the Ballpark, as well as a chance to visit some of Globe Life Field’s premium lounges and spaces while also learning about the rich history of the Texas Rangers Baseball Club and unique architecture of Globe Life Field. 

This exciting tour ends on the Lower Concourse, allowing guests to watch on-field warmups from the lower seating bowl seats. Note that this pregame tour experience does NOT include watching Batting Practice, as teams generally do not take on-field Batting Practice prior to 1:35pm games.

Step up to the plate and take swings on the Texas Rangers’ field! For the first time, guests can book their own 1-hour time slot for up to (8) guests to take batting practice from home plate at Globe Life Field.

Policies:

• Available dates & times are subject to change based on stadium business needs.
• No more than (8) guests may be on the field at one time. This includes parents, children, etc. Any & all guests on the field will be considered as participating in the batting practice.
• The (8) guests participating in batting practice will receive a wristband at entry and will be the only guests allowed onto the field. Any other guests (such as parents of minors) must watch from the third base dugout lounge.
• All minors aged 17 & younger must have at least (1) adult aged 25 or older on the field with them at all times, and that chaperone does count as one of the (8) guests permitted on the field.
• Water coolers will be provided, but no other food or beverages will be provided. Concessions will not be open. Guests may bring their own food & beverages in accordance with the standard venue policy:
  • Guests are permitted to bring outside food into the ballpark as long as it is inside a sealed, clear, quart-sized(or less) plastic bag. Guests may also bring in one sealed non-flavored water in a plastic bottle under 1 liter. One bag of food and one bottle of water per person will be permitted.
• Other than home plate, guests will not have access to the infield. Running of the bases is not permitted.
• No cleats of any kind will be permitted.
• Guests 12 and younger may use metal bats. All guests 13 and older must use wooden bats.
• Guests may bring their own bats, helmet & gloves. Globe Life Field will provide a limited number of wooden bats and batting helmets.
• Baseballs will be provided by the venue.
• Guests will be permitted to catch balls in the outfield while not hitting. Guests may bring their own baseball gloves. The venue does not provide baseball gloves.
• Each hour time slot is sold per time slot, for up to eight (8) guests. There will be no reduction in price for fewer guests, and parties are not able to pay for additional guests in the same time slot. The Tours & Experiences team offers private batting practice options for groups of more than eight.
• Access to player areas, such as the dugouts and clubhouses, is not permitted.
• All participants will need to sign a waiver prior to participating.
• All batting practice reservations are NON-REFUNDABLE. Every reservation must be paid in full at time of booking. All slots are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and times cannot be reserved without full payment at check-out.
